The Orkney Venus, or Westray Wife, is a small figurine dating from the Neolithic period found on Westray in the Orkney Islands. In real life she is a tiny female figure, sculpted from sandstone and only a couple of inches high. Historians are unsure of her meaning, but she has been compared to other 'Venus' figurines found throughout Europe.
This tiny pendant is a faithful replica of the figurine, complete with tiny carved detailing. It is handmade from recycled solid silver, and is lightweight and comfortable for everyday wear.

break from writing to present to you: silver bulldog pendant/friend
He is called Barkley and he's going to be my friend and companion. He's made from silver clay, a substance made of silver particles and a binding agent that, when fired, turns into pure, actual silver. In other words, alchemical magic. I've only posted a couple of my creations to tumblr since I am mainly a writeblr, but he is too cute not to share.
Bonus pics:
^ The firing process. This matte white/grey is what the clay looks like before it silver-izes. Right around when I took this his little back started cracking apart which has never really happened and I think it was because he is taller than most pieces I've made and started solidifying from his feet first. I had to abort and fix him before firing again, and when I did I made sure to do like, a minute per side so he baked evenly. ☺️
^ Barkley against the snowy evening and full moon. Feeling very nice tonight, very close to the source. ☃️🌕
My first time using Art Clay Silver, this stuff is insane. Footprint of my african softfur rat Big Mac, rest in piece my angel ❤️

This was a custom order I did recently for an old high school friend. He wanted a necklace with the Flower of Life symbol, because it carried special meaning in his relationship with his girlfriend.
He also wanted to include her birthstone, so his girlfriend chose these particular Ethiopian Opal nuggets for the necklace. In real life, the Opal beads have amazing fire, but sadly it’s really hard to capture it in a photograph.
I also handcrafted the pendant from .960 sterling silver using a wax seal stamp.
