While I'd consider this a reasonable price I also take into account I'm just an unpublished fanfic writer who doesn't even get her stuff beta'd half the time (although for commissions I would), so pro rates are not something I'd be going for I think.

WELCOME BACK!!!! How's your trip? How's life? How's stuff lol. Also happy thanksgiving from the Canadians! Plus ask meme #1, 3, 8 for TG :P (because it's fun asking haha)

Trip was amazing, life is mediocre, stuff is varied.

1. What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?

Anything involving Suzuya in TG I think?? That child is just so broken and half the art I see involving him with someone just gives me the creeps, maybe because he still looks like such a shota. I'm also not really into pairing Hinami up with Ayato like everyone seems to but that might change with TG:re developments, idk.

3. Any fandoms that don’t appeal to you?

I hope I don't offend anyone but the Free! fandom and the SnK fandom are absolutely batshit crazy. I've watched and enjoyed both shows but the tinfoil-hat brigade is strong with these ones.

8. Unpopular opinion about [insert fandom here]?

Tokyo Ghoul? Hmmm... this is going to be such a boring answer but I really can't think of anything ;A; I thought really hard on it but everything I came up with wasn't really an 'unpopular' opinion. Maybe I can say that I loved the Clowns reveal of the end of TG. I loved seeing who had betrayed Kaneki because it was so perfect and it made me love those characters even more than I had when they'd seemed good.

Especially with the season one trauma to back it up, yoooooooo someone make this happen please!!!!! Like a protagonist who's the villain (or something of that sort), god another thing we never knew we wanted

Though not like crazy-crazy, no need for insane characters, just ones that are like in a stuck mental state

Actually this is a thing I DID know I wanted, and a thing I've actually always enjoyed the rare times it's happened; when a villainous character is villainous not in the sense of 'muahaha I am going to do the thing and I don't care if you think it's bad I'll DO IT ANYWAY' but an antagonist who is so utterly convince they are doing the right thing that their view of the world becomes so skewed that they feel everyone else is evil for trying to stop them.

I believe Slaine has a lot of potential to become such an antagonist, he's been met with so many conflicting views on Martian and Terran race and the conflict between them that he doesn't know what is right anymore, there was nothing that proved this better than season 1's final episode where everything went so horribly, horribly wrong.

A lot of people were angry with Slaine for what he did but I believe each and every one of his actions was justified--from his point of view. Slaine is a mess, and his ever-changing surroundings and peers have, to put it delicately, completely fucked him up until he's doing things we view as bad but he sees as completely rational.

And think of Count Cruhteo, who was a key presence in Slaine's life on Vers. The Count was exactly the same; doing things considered cruel or unnecessary because he legitimately thought he was doing it for the sake of the princess and for the sake of his people.

Slaine has been forced to grow up a lot these past 12 episodes, but too fast. I honestly believe he would make a fantastic antagonist provided they keep him with the same sort of character he currently has and don't let shitty writing warp him into something cliched and boring.

A nice distraction, ummmmmm, have you ever tried those new weird Lays chips like Cappuccino flavour or Mango Salsa or Wasabi Ginger?

NAWWW MAN we don’t have those here in Australia and honestly for the longest time I thought pictures I saw of them were photoshopped because?? WHY????

Are they actually any good though like wasabi is one of my favourite things and so are wasabi peas so wasabi chips sound like a Good Time to me.

Lol all the time, you know those ships you start shipping cause of good fan art. That's happened a lot.

18. Talk about a moment which made you question an entire ship.

Sometimes the shippers of ship can make me question a ship. Bad shippers ruin everything, ya know. But in the end, I usually stand by my shipping despite all the slack it gets or worst case scenario I become neutral about it.

13. What’s the best writing advice you’ve ever come across? I don’t know if it’s writing advice so much but someone once said that you should write the sort of stuff you would want to read, not necessarily what you think other people would want to read. I try to do that, and if other people like it then SCORE.

14. What’s the worst writing advice you’ve ever come across? There’s posts going around with those ‘instead of using ____ try these words’ and while that’s a nice theory they’re?? not great??? half the time I see words that don’t at all fit synonymously with the example word and it makes me so frustrated because I just know someone’s going to take the advice seriously and they’re going to write like they chewed on a thesaurus and that never works.

19. Stephen King once said that his muse is a man who lives in the basement. Do you have a muse? I think I used to back in like, high school. Now not really? I think the muse/inspiration comes from the source material of whatever fic I’m writing, tbh.

26. Do you beta yourself? If so, what kind of beta are you? I do, if only because a bunch of the people I trust to check my fics are generally not online/around at the time I need them and I’m impatient as hell. Generally the only changes I’ll make are spelling/grammatical changes; mostly I’m happy with the first draft and I don’t nitpick too much.
