Let The Day of The Week Guide Your Content
We all want to keep our social networks updated, but when it comes to it, sometimes we have no idea what to post or if the content is getting too repetitive. Don’t hesitate or skip a day because you have “no ideas”. With a virtually endless amount of information on the internet, sometimes the problem can be, too much of a good thing. Next time your stuck, let the days of the week be your inspiration, and you might just find yourself with too many idea and too little time! Check out a few of my own examples to give you inspiration for your own creative content.
#MotivationalMonday: Begins the week with a positive message indirectly related to your industry for the purpose of building a connection with your followers outside of ‘selling’ them a product or service. By focusing on sharing a light-hearted, optimistic message, that builds a connection—your followers will begin to “know” your posts and page from others which will lead to a more engaged audience, who is more likely to share your message.
#TrendingTuesday: Informs your followers about any new products or trending topics in your respected industry. This post is the place to showcase any exclusive deals or offers and builds a level of interaction with your followers that makes them feel as if they have access to exclusive information—just by following your page. Let your audience know they deserve to be the first to know, with the high traffic rates that posting on Tuesday can bring!
Tip Of The Week: Works to brand you as an expert in your industry and provides your followers with exclusive knowledge presented in a short and sweet way! Who says social can't be informative? Become an industry leader and inspire and deeper connection with these individualized tips. Create the feeling that a conversation is happening and they will in turn be more likely to seek out your guidance and inquire about your products or services.
#ThrowbackThursday: Takes your followers back to a previous time and place in order for them to know you on a more personal level through showcasing your previous business related events and activities. This level of personal detail allows your followers to have a unique look into the person behind the business, inspiring a connection.
#FridayFun: Closes the week with a playful image or saying, designed to entertain your audience, because social should be fun! In order for your followers to feel as if they’re apart of a community enjoying the daily updates—content needs to be developed for their specific amusement which in turn results in more ‘shares’ and ‘page views’ for your business or organization.
