Okay, that-- that orientation does help, uh, kind of. You'd think someone made of all possibilities would be able to think a bit quicker?

I have a theory. Bad one, risky one, but... I can see 'no' isn't an answer here. So I'll explain.

I don't think I'm unwinding all at once. It feels like there's... points, places I tread too hard and burnt too hot. You guys can probably think of a couple, I'll take your "I was right"s later. Right now, causality is fraying around those points, and I can't shore it up. It's like a bad thread. But if we did like the Vols do, if you wound your strings, your lines around mine at those moments? There'd be support, fixity. Could take the strain off.

I'm not asking you to do it, though. Really, this isn't a science the way I mess with all this. You could get hurt, or-- not gone, but changed. Really changed.

I don't even know when the temporal inject would pop up in your lines, you'll have no way of knowing when's bearing the stress. But it might be enough.
