Thank you to @jace-hunter and the Silver Lily FC for hosting their March of the Sands public event! It was good fun.
We were a little distracted during the countdown (having fun, whoops). But here it is! We are five days away from Stormblood!
Primals are a huge part of FFXIV. Which were your favorite from Heavensward and which of the announced are you looking forward to in Stormblood?
The March of Sands is a march from Ul’dah to Little Ala Mhigo that is being organized by your friends at Silver Lily.
To show our support and solidarity with those who have been annexed by Garlemald, and those who fight back to take their homeland from oppressors, we stand with you and we recognize you, and wish to show that the rest of Eorzea stands with you as well.
Though the original stance from Silver Lily was to aide from afar, we’ve decided to be a little more outspoken and to reach out to those who seek us, to let them know, we are here for you!
We need people from all across the realm to come and join us for the march. We are planning encouraging speeches, inspirational performances, and blood-pumping (or intelligence-inducing, for you mages) sparring matches.
If you are a Free Company, Free Company Leader, or other individual, we want you to come and show your support with us!
The march will gather in the Gold Court, move through the city, and Central Thanalan, and arrive at the Little Ala Mhigo settlement.
If you’re not interested in marching, speaking, performing, or anything else, Feel free to stand along the path and cheer us on! All support is welcome.

We are looking for people with dual seater mounts, people who wish to perform or give a speech, and of course, what kind of event in Thanalan would be complete without some good-ol’ sparring! If any of this interests you, then please consider joining us!
The event is happening Friday, May 26th! We will begin gathering at 8pm EST and be on the move 15 minutes after!
