Incongruence With Time №12 Stilton collection part 1
Way back in 1956, the silver mines exploded. Not for any known reason, because this is Starry Creek, but they exploded with the drama and cinematic appeal of a Michael Bay movie.
Molten silver spewed from the mines after the explosion. Three miners got hurt. Four dozen deer died. It was a dark month.
Eventually, people were sent up to the mines to investigate. They found blue goop and green skin and limbs that looked like tentacles, even though that's impossible because there is no water in the silver mines.
The mines were deep, deeper then they thought was possible. They boarded that part up.
Eventually the mines were reopened. The miners were given guns and told to be careful.
In that stillness
The black waters
In the perfection
The fog
In that moment
The peace breaking
The silence disrupting
I dive.

How is Silver Mined And Formed -- Documentary
Very Interesting... Worth a watch for sure if you are into learning about how things are made and the like.
When the silver vein in the mountains was discovered, it shone so brightly that people thought that is was a fallen star. Wheelbarrows full of silver were collected from the vein, which ran deep into the mountain. The town was going to be incredibly wealthy. People from all over America went to visit Starry Creek, the town overflowing with silver. The mountains were filled with it.
The town grew and grew and grew, with people thriving from the wealth that was coming in constantly. The mine just went deeper and deeper, and an almost impossible amount of silver was being collected.
The "Silver Boom" lasted 210 years, until the mines were shut down. During those years, over three hundred people disappeared. Miners went crazy and would run into the mountains, never to be seen again. People would complain about working in the mines, becoming ill from inhaling silver dust, and then burn to death in mysterious fires.
People said that something lived in the mines. And not something pleasant, like the Ladies of the Lake. Something cruel. Something with long fingers and sickly yellow eyes and drooping skin. Something with rows and rows of needle-like teeth. Something that didn't want people collecting its silver.
But the mines brought wonderful riches.
cutting something off encourages growth; trim the excess and a clear path will flow with abundance.
the universe will always provide.
