Surprising Allison hadn’t been easy. Lydia had to plan ahead and get every detail in order to be able to pretend she wasn’t going to make it home for Christmas. The redhead had alleged having too many projects and not being able to get a rest, not even for the holidays. Her arrival had been kept secret for a whole day, Lydia hiding at her place until the morning on the 25th, when she knocked on Allison’s door with a huge smile and a small wrapped package on her hands.

          ‘  i know we had a plan for spring break,   but i still kinda wanna go to the beach   --   even if we know it’s gonna be busy.     i mean, if we went at least ONCE it’d be fun,   right?     could say we went to the beach for spring break and enjoyed the craziness.  ’       stiles is for it,   he knows,   but the girls have shown some hesitation.     especially considering the plan had literally been to stay in beacon hills,   maybe throw a party,   and just hope that nothing bad came their way.     scott . . . . for some reason,   wants more.       ‘  please??     you’re gonna be the one that’ll help me convince lydia.     she’ll go if you go.  ’

 T H O U G H  they  had  both  recovered  from  their  wounds  that  had  been  inflicted  by  void ,  stiles  still  felt  a  yawning  gap  between  them .  or  maybe  it  was  the  youth  projecting  his  thoughts  on  the  matter .  guilt  surrounded  him  for  the  harm  that  had  come  to  allison .  stiles  couldn’t  forgive  himself .  even  if  he  tried .  but  the  teen  was  trying  to  make  it  work .  he  missed  allison .  she  was  one  of  his  best  friends .
