Your a terrible human being. I can understand not liking something or someone but there's absolutely no reason at all to keep beating them down or their writing. And saying you had it worse is no excuse to be a piece of shit.
and ur boring but u don’t see me sending u asks about that
If it's not too much, could you do something with Geoff, Gavin, and Ryan? I don't understand their creatures as much as the others.
Notes: No probs! While Geoff's is pretty common it's also got a lot of influences from different sources so it can be confusing, and Gavin and Ryan are pretty obsecure I think!
For anyone who isn't aware: Geoff is a witch, Gavin is a skinwalker, and Ryan is a banshee.
For my Creature AU. Most likely takes place the night before Flowers Bloom in the Morning.
ALSO: this ended up very freewood centric and I apologize for the lack of Geoff.
Ryan woke up screaming. The sound, low and deep, vibrated off the walls of the apartment and back at him.
It was the fifth time in as many days. This time, he could feel the sorrow in his chest growing and the darkness filling in around them.
"Ry?" The lights flickered on in the living room. Geoff and Gavin emerged from the hallway, the elder carrying his wand while the other walked behind him with a wrist full of animal skins. "Again?"
"Yeah," Ryan answered. He shot them an apologetic smile, rubbing at his chest as he did so. Death was seeping all around and he could feel another scream bubbling. "I'm sorry for waking you up again."
"It's not a problem," Gavin murmured. He climbed over the back of the couch, settling himself by Ryan's feet. "You should have stayed in bed with us."
He shook his head, "I don't want to keep you up all night."
As Geoff passed them by, bee-lining for the kitchen, he said, "If we were that bothered by it, we would have broken up with you a long time ago."
Ryan hummed, "Still. It doesn't feel right."
Gavin shifted closer, his thighs straddling Ryan's. He lifted one hand, the furs that gave him his powers tickling Ryan's face, and curled a hand in Ryan's hair.
"Do you know who it is yet?" Gavin questioned, his voice soft and gentle.
"Mm...The lady next door I think." He glanced towards the wall connecting their apartments, adding, "Soon too. Tonight or tomorrow."
"I like her," Gavin said, sadness in the turn of his lips. "She always leaves food out for me when she sees me, regardless of whether I'm a at or a dog or a bird."
"I know." Ryan leaned into his touch, reaching up to lace their fingers together. "I like her too."
There were soft footsteps and Ryan looked up to find Geoff moving his wand in a circle motion above the cracked mug from Gavin's trip to Ireland a few years ago. The liquid inside was yellow and steaming, stirring under his ministrations.
"For your throat," Geoff said, passing it off.
Ryan took it with both hands, bringing it to his nose when Gavin leaned back to give him room. It smelled like honey and flowers.
"What's in it?" he questioned.
"Not troll toenails if that's what your asking," Geoff deadpanned. He settled on the floor next to the couch, leaning the side of his head against Ryan's thigh. "Some honey, herbs from Ray's garden. I started brewing it for you when this started."
"Thank you." He took a long sip before setting it on the coffee table behind his head. "You two should go back to bed. I'll be alright."
"Nah," Geoff dismissed. "We'll stay out here with you."
Ryan glanced down at him, "I'm going to be wailing all night until she passes."
"We know," Gavin said. "But we didn't want to sleep anyway."
Geoff snorted, but didn't say anything else.
Ryan was silent for a minute before saying, "Wanna play some Halo then?"
Hi, I was wanting to get into the yogscast and was wondering where a good place to start was?
Okay so the Yogscast? It's huge. And there are lots of great things that might not show up here because I don't think they're great starters/just dont enjoy them. And most of this is recent stuff as well.
So first off, Blackrock. Rythian has a rockin voice and Zoey is super fun. They're both pretty great separately but their series together is amazing. Blackrock is the aforementioned collaboration. Blackrock is also a huge source material for the fandom because it is an actual story with characters.
Their Civ Series is a great place too because it'll introduce you to a lot of them and if you like their humor you can explore them a bit more.
Evicted is my favorite of the new series and Nilesy is actually the funniest member of the group to me (Sips is second but I didn't really have a rec for you from him).
And then there's Solutions In Chaos and the sequel Blood and Chaos which is made by two of the newest members, Will ad Parv, and is pretty big with the tumblr fandom.
If you like scary shit, I recommend Outlast with Hannah and Kim.
And LASTLY, Area 11 is a great band which works with the Yogscast/is closely associated with the so here's their album All The Lights In the Sky.
I'm sorry if I overwhelmed you, but I hope you enjoy some of these!
I think there's a lot of fics where one of them (and to me it seems to be mostly Jack too) that are the lone human, I think it would be fun to see them as all monsters. Plus, I've never seen someone write a slyph so that would be cool.
Well, the thing is that human characters generally work better if you're going to have concepts that need explained or want the reader to be able to have someone to connect too well.
But I definitely see what you mean about Jack tending to be that person.
To be honest, that article only made me want to watch RWBY. (I was putting it off because I wanted to watch RvB first). I mean, I've only been in the fandom for a short time and I can tell that Rooster Teeth has more respect for females than to just put them into stereotypical anime rolls.
<333 you're lovely! And I guarantee you will absolutely love RWBY! The animation is a little rough at the beginning (still good! the fighting scenes are incredible!) but it gets way better! <3
