He extends a hand, and a faint outline of wings show behind him.

The demon-hog would slowly look upright at them, clutching his stomach tightly, a slight wetness clearly visible having slid along his face from his eyes.

"No....I'm not.."

Came a hushed reply, writhing from pain.

Silver wouldn't be the only one who was lost, as it turned out. Just not lost in the literal sense. He knew his way around Soleanna well enough, even despite the small differences here and there. It's not his, he has to remind himself again, he turns the warp ring over in his hand that's tucked away in his jacket pocket. Not his. But he can't bring himself to care right now.

He paces over the rooftops just into view, high above the town's roads that were illuminated in streetlamp light. The shops would be closing within the hour, and most people would be retiring to their homes for the evening. Cynic's eyes are fixed ahead, something in the distance had his full attention. He does not seem to notice Silver below him.

He saw the kid being brought it. Learned who her dad was upon Silver telling him. And he fully agreed and supported Silver's choice. He knew the familiar feeling of paying for your "parent" and their crimes.

Blueberries were one that she'd only read about in books. It would have probably taken some travel to find real blueberry bushes. His words left her curious about their taste, and she'd be certain to heed Silver's words. Green berries were a no-go.

"Do you know what season they ripen in? I would just love to see them for myself."
