"We may have lost Eorzea but at least we'll have a tree for Starlight."

Thank you | Nael van Darnus
It had been something that troubled him for a while, but he had finally come to a conclusion. It was his decision to return the armor back to its owner. Making his way through the familiar emerald maze, he firmly pressed the armor onto him. "Here."
"I don't think I'll be celebrating All Saints Wake after all. Thank you and sorry for causing you trouble for nothing." As his fingertips retreated from the cool steel he realized it was also his way of saying goodbye to the false sense of security he had tried to give himself. Celebrating one last holiday before the end, trying to act normal while Dalamud loomed high in the sky. But it was all pointless, he had come to terms that the world was ending, and not even one last silly event would make that go away.
He had to say something fast. His voice was starting to give in, he only hope he didn't take notice of it. His eye was starting to get misty. Gods, he prayed he could hold out long enough, just long enough to make it to his house. He didn't, wouldn't, couldn't let anyone see him like that.
"My dad took really good care of it, he polished it everyday and repaired any wears it had, he really came to love it and appreciate Garlean craftsmanship." It sounded forced, but it was true the armor in front of him was shining. "It's why they're in Mor Dhona at the moment, he wanted to see different types of armor. So that's why I'm returning it, I don't think I'm capable of taking care of it."
His smile was beginning to waver as well. He prayed the Elezen would take it back, speak little like he always did and he be on his way. He couldn't stand being there a second longer.

"Why in the name of Hydaelyn would you like this?"
He sighed as he rolled up the newspaper he was reading and proceeded to whack his chest with it. After what happened last time he decided his head was off limits.
"Bad Nael bad!"
The Hyur kept running despite fleeing from the boy a while ago, it helped keep his mind off the pain that plagued his body. Not once did he stop, and it was taking a toll on him as he was panting heavily. Across his face were several cuts, with blood still dripping from them, not counting the ones on his arms and chest. His robe which was always a brilliant white was now stained with blood and had cuts to it.
"Nael!" he shouted as he crashed into the Elezen, hanging onto him as he buried his face on his chest. "I take it back! I was wrong! You're the only moon crazed mad man for me!"
You may not.
Helping me once does not constitute the borrowing of my belongings, Zanel.
The Hyur sighed as his answer.
"But Nael, I'm only asking for it for one day, it's also probably the last All Saint's Wake I'll be able to spend in Eorzea...
"Besides you're planning on changing your wardrobe soon right? So it's not like you'll be using it."
He put his hands together in a last effort to convince him. "Only if my mun can't finish it so please?"
Zanel teleported back to the node, Bradamante clasped in his hands. He sighed, wandering if he had truly lost his mind giving the White Raven his signature weapon back. He also wandered if the other would try to kill him as soon as he returned it so he casted protect and stoneskin on himself just in case.
He continued walking back to their meeting spot as these questions plagued his mind. Before long he saw the armor-clad Elezen in the distance and sighed, clutching Bradamante tighter in his grasp.
"Here," he said as he put the spear in front of himself offering it to the other. He was worried to say the least although he tried not to show it, he didn't know what the other might do.
