it is VITALLY important for me to know if you’ve seen supernova (2020); colin firth and stanley tucci are peak old married couple - literally - and it’s about them camper van-ing around while dealing with tucci’s character’s early onset dementia. it makes me SICK i love it so much

have you seen any of ‘happy!’ (2017-2019)? it’s absolutely batshit but very fun. christopher meloni as a dirtbag ex-cop whose daughter’s imaginary friend (voiced by patton oswalt) seeks him out when she gets kidnapped.

that’s the basic premise but there’s also supernatural elements but a lot of very fun gratuitous violence

this premise alone sounds bonkers in yonkers and also like something that was made to appeal directly to me so this is getting added high on the watchlist for sure will report back if/when i watch

fuck fusilli. marry rigatoni. kill orecchiette. this one was actually quite easy; rigatoni is solid and dependable, and so is fusilli, but fusilli is kinda funky with it. maybe we can be in a triad :-) orecchiette just does not have the shape i like. and for that he must die

nathaniel what would you add to a salad to accompany lasagna & tenderstem broccoli (charred) & garlic bread. i want arugula and orange segments in there; maybe walnuts?

bonus points if you can think of a starter to use up the other half of the baguette. i’d go with bruschetta but tomatoes kinda suck at the minute

ooh i would definitely put feta and sunflower seeds in the salad; pickled red onion would also be good, depending on the dressing (i’m assuming a vinaigrette?). very thin sliced beets sound yummy also!!

for using up half a baguette but not bruschetta, my mind immediately goes to an herby homemade dip— maybe a green goddess dressing? <- i am also happy to go track down my personal recipe that phil and i have been futzing with for the entirety of our relationship if you’re interested :)
