#IWear: Just because I don't talk about it, doesn't mean I don't feel it This is not me looking fairer, it's me looking paler. A hard work week culminated in stress headaches and acidity. I know I've got to find a way to not let work define me but that's hard when you enjoy what you do. I usually dress up when I'm feeling down because it gives me an energy boost. The trouble is that it also makes people assume that I'm shallow or that I never feel tired or sick. #IWear: Adapting Colour - Work & Workout If you want to carry the same look through the day, you've got to account for light and colour as well as how fresh your skin looks. The first (top) uses @lakmeindia #AbsoluteShine eyeliner and @facescanada #ReadMyLips. The second (bottom) uses @trysugar #ReThinkPink , @lorealmakeup #SilverSpice , @nyxcosmetics #Amethyst and @revlon #BabyLips. In the morning, I used sparkle rather than colour on my eyes because I started the day tired and I knew I was in for a long meeting where colour would degrade. The evening is dreary and I needed motivation to work out so I worked iridescence on my lips and left my eyes bare. I know I look tired in both but I'm on my period and it's been a long day and is still going on. Making sure I still dress well and makeup is my way of consistent self-care. I've also been away from the gym for 2 weeks while I correct my thus-far wrong form at yoga class. The intense stretching I was doing earlier was making my skin glow but I was risking all manner of injury.
