1941 Silvertone 2312

1958 Silvertone 1394
This was an actual barn find - full of hay and mice had eaten the speaker cone. Fortunately it didn’t smell bad. Had the electronics updated and the speaker reconed - problems solved. 2 channels, mic channel is much hotter as is normal with older amps - no cap on the input. 2 6L6 into a big 15″ plus tremolo on the Instrument channel makes for joyous noise. Back removed for the 2nd photo.
1952 Silvertone 1342
A rare find of the trapezoid shaped 1342, they don’t come on the market very often. I have an even harder to find trapezoidal 1343 thanks to a tip from a collection fan. I know of several studios across the US that have one of these in their amp inventory, such as The Loft of Chicago (who commented on my 1342 Instagram post that they loved theirs.) The 1342 is a rejiggered LectroLab r-500, not a Danelectro. 2 6V6, 2 channels, 12″.
1960 Silvertone 1434 Twin Twelve
This is the 3rd of 5 Twin Twelves to carry the Silvertone badge, all were made by Danelectro. This amp has the original diamond print grill which is usually long gone. 4 6L6GC power 2 12″ original Utahs. Lots of gain, bright with a solid bass end, Tremolo Speed/depth. Channel 1 is brighter than channel 2. This amp begs to be turned up and driven.
1952 Silvertone 1346 Twin Twelve
Took 4 years to find a good 1346 that wasn’t all beat up or repainted after decades, let alone finding one at all. This is Silvertone’s first Twin Twelve, made by Danelectro of course, out of number sequence. 4 6L6 gives the amp a good meaty punch that stays pretty clean. It has great natural tone and takes pedals very nicely. It has 2 channels, tremolo and a master volume which was highly unusual in 1952. Killer tone for your recording. Ad copies show the speaker opening change from 1951 to 1952. Thanks to Randy at SIlvertoneWorld.Net for those.
