Hey um I'm very much interested in silver x yuki: can you rant about it more?
Hii!! Oh okay bestie! I will rant about Leaping Lambs ship aka Silver x Yuki aka formerly known as the sleepysheep ship (old shipname) :3
Disclaimer: I will yap about my unfinished twst x obey me twst retelling fic cuz i still got it in my head and it might be dark.

SILVER X YUKI LEAPING LAMB YAP
TLDR:
Silver x Yuki isn't my intended ship like Heartswool (Ace x Yuki) but the ship happened for plot. Unlike Ace or Ruggie who I give headcanons that they have a one-sided crushes on Yuki...Silver has no crush on Yuki at all but instead...Book 7!Yuki developed a crush on Silver for being nice.
Silver just thought Yuki is just like any other or someone that Diasomnia has to look after because Malleus is already aware who Yuki having demon pacts with the obey me brothers. (TL DR: Luci asked Diasomnia to help him look after Yuki against the overblots.
The Similarities:
I told from previous posts, Silver and Yuki ship happened because they have similar backgrounds, such as:
They were both a human raised by a family of dark faes or demons... (I like to imagine nocturnal faes and demons from the Obey me Series is the same)
Both of them have parental figures who cooks really bad or have very questionable culinary skills. (Lilia and Solomon). They have been poisoned and trained to not be poisoned etc.
Silver has a powerful adopted big brother who is a hundred years older than him named Malleus. Meanwhile, Yuki has seven big brother-figures who are probably centuries older than her.
I imagined at some point, Silver has to go around a fae-only town so he kind of know the feeling of being the only human hence being left out since he's the only human. (Even tho, humans are accepted in Briar Valley...I imagined there's still some fae who are
Yuki also know this feeling since she's the only human in the world of demons. Solomon is also human but he's immortal so that doesn't count.
This parallel made me realize...hey! they can bond over past experience. Silver can also fix her trauma(?) in a way.
When did it Happen:
The ship started at Book 7 in Yuki's dream, (I made Yuki and Grim have separate dreams where Silver first went to Grim's dream then Sebek then Yuki then finally Lilia.)
Anyway, In Yuki's dream...It's technically OG the few first chapters of Obey me plot or for Yuki...it's a flashback dream.
Yuki is used to magic, magic floating coffins and other weird stuff thanks to her stay in the Devildom so when she came to TWST, she isn't fazed by Twisted Wonderland's magic system but in this dream, Yuki is completely different.
She was frail, gullible, paranoid and not used seeing magic. She's not used to flying with brooms or magic duels. Her first few days is her running away from demons.
If I would do an Obey me Retelling, I made Solomon Yuki's trusted confidant because Solomon is a fellow human. She seeks comfort in Solomon being human, creating that familial bond before the bros.
so in the dream, since Silver and Sebek is present, that comfort is provided by Silver and Sebek..and Grim too being a monster cat and all.
Since Sebek is loud, Silver is the one who comforts Yuki gently, they protected Yuki from the dangers. Silver shared his experiences and along with the calming conversation, at some point, Yuki has that crush.
Idk how Yuki wakes up in the dream in detail but since this is SilverxYuki yap, I'm not gonna share how lol
HOW IT BLOOMED:
I see my Yuki-ships as an otome route thing. Book 7 is where Yuki has to pick a love interest in the dreams. let's say it like that. Let's say: Silver's Route...what if after Ruggie and Ace's confession...Yuki didn't reciprocate their love leaving her boyfriend-less.
Silver doesn't have a crush on Yuki but Yuki has a little crush on Silver that developed during her dream. Just like AcexYuki, Yuki is in denial to this crush of hers and since this crush happened in Malleus's arcane dream world...he knows this little crush of Yuki.
Then we welcome Malleus being a Silver x Yuki shipper. Malleus isn't being a matchmaker...he's just a silent supporter, supporting Yuki's hidden romantic feelings.
(Idk how Malleus does his Silver x Yuki shipper magic yet since I've been focusing on Leona being a Ruggie x Yuki shipper and Riddle being Ace x Yuki shipper as a meme)
I once joked around that Malleus and Leona have beef on each other, competing or betting on who would Yuki end up with then Riddle comes in the scene with his cool sunglasses and say "I win beetch" lol
But Let's say after years of supporting Yuki's romantic feelings for Silver, Yuki confessed to Silver and they lived happily ever after yay!
