Yerim x reader x Eunjong poly headcanons
their Achilles heel is 'loyalty'. it is yours too, even if you do not make it as obvious as they do, even if you deny it. they wouldn't love you so much otherwise. you know both of them are always ready to do whatever it takes to defend you or each other. you would do the same for them.
Yerim and Eunjong have known each other for a rather long time. it's been months, perhaps years before they met you. they know each other to the extent it makes you jealous sometimes, but you're honestly better off this way. because they already know each other but they only get to know you now. they are both excited in their own ways to get to know you better, and for a time being you are the centre of their attention.
yerim stares on things - and people - she likes. she looks at you as if you're the best thing in the world and she cannot believe she's lived all this time without knowing you.
yerim looks at Eunjong as if she knows everything about her, as if she's ready to sacrifice everything for her but she is also... wary. always ready for something blowing up, always ready for a confrontation. she knows her.
at first Eunjong looks at you the way she looks at everything except Yerim. like you are dirt beneath her feet, like you are nothing special. but she keeps looking, keeps watching, and the longer she looks at you, talks to you, the more often you notice flashes of something else in her eyes. gentleness, curiosity. admiration. she's hard to read. but you learn her language and you read her. her eyes say: i love you.
Eunjong looks at Yerim as if she knows everything about her. how passionate she is, how much guts she has, how ready she is to throw everything she fought for away for the people she loves. she knows her - and she loves every single bit of her. but she cannot allow yerim to destroy herself just as much as she cannot allow anyone else to do it.
you hang out together in the cafeteria, then, after school, in a nice little café with overpriced healthy foods and drinks. it's tasty though. you go with their whole friend group the first couple of times, and then you go with only Yerim and Eunjong, and then you start going only with them more and more often.
you meet up in a kids playground late at night, after Yerim finished with her idol training and Eunjong with her swimming. you eat ice-cream. you look at the small distant stars of the big city. you talk about each other, about the happy class, about the future - you're going to go to some ridiculously prestigious university, live in the same dorm and sneak to each others rooms at night. or even better, perhaps you'll rent an apartment and live together. all of the harin's bullshit will be over. you will be free. happy, too. yerim's gonna be famous, her songs playing on all the radio stations, her face watching everyone from the big screens downtown. Eunjong's gonna swim, win the nationals and get a nice stipend, perhaps work part-time at a local bar or store. maybe she'll go pro. and you - you're going to do whatever you want. they'll be there for you.
yerim realises she likes you first. then you make her realise she also likes Eunjong very much. Eunjong hears you both out and decides that it's exactly what she wants - for you three to be together forever, for you two to be hers. you like them both, and that's how it starts.
your first kiss with yerim is seconds before your first kiss with Eunjong. yerim is nice. she's playful and teasing, and when you jokingly dare her to kiss you she does just that. it's fleeting though. she leans away a bit, daring you to kiss her, to show how desperate you are.
you kiss Eunjong instead. it's a mistake - or maybe not a mistake, but you are not ready to such passion, and pressure, and hunger when you do it. Eunjong doesn't hold back. never. the palm of her hand - strong, unyielding - is on the back of your head, her tongue in your mouth. Yerim purses her lips and the next kiss is between her and Eunjong.
you notice how much less gentle they can be with each other then they are with you. not cruel exactly, but they know what each of them can handle and they're not afraid to push. you wonder if they will ever be like that with you. (they will. if you ask them about this yourself, it's going to happen sooner rather later.)
