Professor Mayberry: When the government was established, it was agreed that there would be Council Committee Leaders who specialize in Commerce, Agriculture, Education, Parks and Recreation, Tourism, and Public Services for each city.
Professor Mayberry: The Council Committee Leaders are led by the Council Chairs who are led by the City’s Mayor. The Mayor’s work with their Lord of Parliament who, in turn, work directly with the Monarchy. Each government leader plays an integral role in keeping our country running. Any questions?
???: I have a question, Professor.
Professor Mayberry: Yes, go ahead, Karlee.
Karlee: I can understand the function of the Council Chairs and Lords and such. But what exactly is the purpose of the Monarchy? I mean, aren’t our tax dollars mainly just paying for fancy figureheads at this point?
Professor Mayberry: Well, Karlee. That is the opinion of some. That SimDonia has evolved past the need for a Monarchy system, at all. Class, anyone know why some believe, otherwise?
Ella: May I, Professor?
Professor: Yes, Ella, of course.
Ella: The Monarchy system is useful in SimDonia because it provides a checks and balances system in our government. States with more cities have more Mayors who then have more influence in Parliament. The Monarchy includes a duchy in all states. Mayors have far less influence over Dukes than Lords. They can’t fund their reelection campaign, bribe, or even marry into the Royal Family. Without the Monarchy, there is more room for corruption in government.
Karlee Scoffs: As if the Royal Family is immune to corruption.
Ella annoyed: Did I say that or are you hard of hearing?
Professor Mayberry: Alright, girls. That’s enough, but good discussion. Mr. Stephens! Anything you’d like to input or are we putting you to sleep?
Luka yawns: No, Professor. Great discussion. I... like what Ella said.
Class laughs and bell dings
Professor Mayberry: Alright class, be sure to read Chapter 4 in your books for homework. We will be discussing the Hallow Slough Council at length next class!
Ella annoyed: Ugh. I swear to Watcher. I cannot stand Karlee!
Luka chuckles: Why do you let her rile you up so much, Elle?
Ella: She’s always coming for me! You think her comments about the Royal Family being useless were random?? It’s me she wants to demolish me, not the Monarchy.
Luka: Aw, I won’t let her, babe. Promise.
Ella chuckles: Sorry. Maybe she is driving me more crazy than normal ever since... you know.
Luka: Yeah, I’m still sorry about how all that went down. If I had known she was going to kiss me, I would’ve-
Ella: Yeah, it’s fine. We don’t need to talk about it, again.
Luka: So... a whole chapter for homework tonight? Man, if this class is anything like Sophomore History, I’m screwed.
Ella: What do you mean?
Luka: Gotta keep my grades up if I want to stay on the soccer team. I was barely keeping up last year.
Ella: Need some study help? My friends and I study in the library every Tuesday and Thursday.
Luka: Uh... I’m not sure about that Ella.
Ella: Why not?
Luka: Do you think your friends would be cool with that? I’m not sure how they feel about me after everything that’s happened.
Ella: Oh, stop. If I’m cool, then they’re cool. It’ll be fun!
Luka: Okay, if you say so. I’ll see you at lunch, beautiful.

Eric: I don’t know why Victoria loves to call me and tell me - in detail - all of your shopping... fashion... escapades! It all sounds like gibberish to me!
Ella laughs: She’s just excited. This was her first time getting personally styled by my mom. And, you know...
Eric rolls his eyes: She’s kind of a big deal... I get it, Elle.
Ella laughs: What?! You said it, not me.
Eric: Well, spawn of Mrs. Big Deal, did you end up finding a dress for the dance?
Ella: Yes, I did, actually. So did Vickie.
Eric: That’s cool.
Ella: Yeah, it should be a fun homecoming.
Eric: Yeah... speaking of homecoming...
Ella: Yeah?
Eric: I know we all planned to go together, but I was wondering if maybe you would like to go as my da-
Loud distracting laughter
???: As if Luka of all people would want to be with Miss Thinks She’s Perfect!
Ella upset: Ugh... I have had it with Karlee.
Eric: Yeah... she’s taking this whole jealous of you thing too far. Anyway, I was saying-
Karlee laughs louder
Ella: That’s it! I’m going over there!
Eric: Uh... Ella? That might not be such a great idea...
Karlee: What in the world do you want, Ella? There’s no guys over here for you to steal?
Ella: I want you to keep my name out of your mouth! And I didn’t steal anyone!
Karlee: Oh, sure you didn’t. As if you had no idea that Luka liked me!
Ella: Karlee, I asked you about Luka and you said it was okay. I even asked him and he said you were just friends. You’re just being delusional.
Karlee: No, I think you’re just being Ella. Always getting your way, as usual!
Ella: What the heck are you talking about, Karlee?
Karlee: You can’t just be a ballerina, you have to be the best ballerina in our class! You can’t just be wealthy, you have to be freaking royalty! Now for once, I have something that you don’t, the cutest guy at this school, and you just have to have that, too!
Ella: You sound crazy, Karlee. You're just jealous like you always are! We’re supposed to be friends, but you’re always trying to compete with me! I feel bad for you, honestly.
Karlee: Oh, get off your high horse, Ella! No one is jealous of your divorcee mom, dishonoured dad, your poor excuse of a blended family, and especially not that fake hair and lashes.
Eric: Oh god, Ella... Looks like a no on the dance thing...

Victoria: Okay, things are definitely happening. What things? I’m not so sure.
Ella: Uh. Well, I definitely think the blue team is winning and we are red, so...
Victoria: Oh. Then why are we cheering?
Ella: I don’t know! To motivate our team, I guess? Gooooo Lobsters!
Victoria: We aren’t the crabs?
Ella: Really, Vick?
Victoria: Oooh, there go your man, girl! And he is looking right at you!
Ella: Go Luka!!!!
Victoria: Aw, he winked at you! You guys are so cute.
Ella blushes and laughs: Stop it!
Cheeleaders: Go Lobsters. Go Lobsters! Go!
Announcer: We’re in the home stretch with just 2 minutes left in the game. It’s a close on, folks. Can the Lobsters come back?
Announcer: Looks like Team Captain, Luka Stephens has the ball. He lines up for the winning shot! He shoots and...
Announcer: He scores! SimDonia Prepatory wins!
Cheers and applause
Soccer Player: Good game!
Soccer Player 2: Good job, Luka!
Ella: Yay! We won!
Victoria: Yes, and all thanks to your man, girl! Should we go congratulate him?
Ella: Yeah, let’s go!
Karlee: Ughhh. Oh, it’s not big deal, huh? Yet you can’t wait to make your way over to him. Well, let’s see just how big a deal it is, Ella.
Victoria: Uhhh.... what is Karlee doing?
Ella: Is she?
Karlee: Oh my Watcher! That was such a good game, Luka!
Luka: Thanks, Karle-
Karlee kisses his cheek
Luka: Oh, uh... thanks, I guess?
Victoria: Oh no she did not! What on Earth is wrong with that girl?
Ella: I don’t know. But, I’m not waiting around to find out. Let’s go.
Luka: Ella?
Evergreen Quarry | Parkshore, SimDonia
Karlee: It’s too easy to trick your security detail, Elle. Your parents should really do something about that.
Ella: Thanks for the concern... Do you guys even know these people?
Luka: Yeah, it’s mostly just people from school or the public schools.
Karlee: Ugh, I cannot listen to you drone on. I see some of the other cheerleaders. Come say hi, Luka!
Luka: Uh... I think I’ll show Ella around. I get that this could seem a little seedy.
Karlee annoyed: Ugh, suit yourself.... Hey, Steph!
Luka: Hey, there’s a spot. Away from some of the commotion. Want a beer?
Ella: Uh... no, thanks.
Luka: Okay. So... how do you like SimDonia? Is it really different from Simerica?
Ella: Um... a little bit. But, I like it so far. I have some pretty cool friends luckily.
Luka: Yeah, that always helps. Karlee’s pretty cool.
Ella: Yeah, sure. So, your dad works for the SBI, huh?
Luka: Yeah. He actually works in the Monarchy division. He’s been working nonstop on that crazy wedding guy case.
Ella: Wow. Yeah, that was crazy. Hopefully, your dad puts that guy away for a long time.
Luka: I hope so. You were there, right?
Ella: Yeah, it was insanely chaotic. They whisked us away so fast. I was just glad my family was okay.
Luka: I bet. I’m glad you were okay, too. I couldn’t imagine dealing with that kind of stuff. Being a royal seems tough sometimes.
Ella: Yeah. But, at least there are a lot of perks.
Luka laughs: Oh yeah, which is your favorite?
Ella: Um... probably the round the clock manicurist that my mom hired. He was at Diana’s wedding and she pratically stole him. I broke a nail last week and it was fixed in less than 10 minutes.
Luka: Okay, that’s pretty cool. Want to know my favorite part of you being a Royal?
Ella: What could that possibly be?
Luka: That it led you here to me.
Ella blushes: I would find that super cute if it wasn’t incredbily lame.
Luka laughs: I tried!
Ella: I thought you and Karlee were... I don’t know...
Luka: Oh! No, we’re just friends. I’ve definitely had my eye on someone else...
Steph: You alright, Karlee? You look annoyed.
Mike: I’m pretty sure that’s just her face.
Karlee: Huh?
Karlee: Oh, it’s nothing. It’s just crowded around here is all.
Police Siren
Police Officer: Alright, kids. Time to break up the party. Let’s go!
Luka: Oh, crap. Cops! We gotta go, Ella.
Ella: I thought your dad worked for the SBI?!
Luka: He does! Exactly why I don’t need to get caught here and neither do you! Follow me!
Ella: Okay!
Luka: Okay, we should be good here. Man, that was close!
Ella: Oh my Watcher! I cannot believe that just happened.
Luka: Right? That was kind of fun, though.
Ella: Fun?! Almost getting arrested?! Getting a criminal record before we even graduate?! Is that your idea of fun?
Luka: No...actually this is my kind of fun...
Ella: What are you...?

Joanna: Alright, girls, boys, get in positions. We’re almost on!
Debra: Parents and loved ones, thank you all for attending this year’s Youth Ballet Recital! These students have been working so hard to prepare for this and they cannot wait to showcase their skills to you all this evening.
Debra fades out: I’d like to thank those who helped make this event possible...
Ella: I’m so excited! I can’t wait for mom and dad to see me on stage!
Karlee bratty: Well, make sure you don’t mess up, Ella!
Ella: What do you mean, Karlee?
Karlee: There’s going to be a lot of people watching us out there. So, don’t mess up or you’ll make us all look bad!
Ella proud: Karlee, I don’t mess up! I’m a great ballerina. I’ll probably be a pro one day like Miss Debra.
Karlee: A pro?! You wish, Ella. You just think you’re better than everyone because you’re a princess or whatever. That doesn’t make you good at ballet!
Victoria: Don’t listen to her, Ella! Karlee just likes to be mean when she’s nervous. We’re all going to do great! Right, Karlee?
Karlee: Whatever...
Ella: Thanks Victoria. I know it’s going to be a great show. Don’t be a downer, Karlee!
Debra: And of course, I want to thank all of you for supporting these young artists today and everyday! Now, let’s get this show on the road! Here are this year’s International School of Ballet’s Youth Ballet students!
Bria whispers: I’m going to pee my pants from excitement... or from this baby on my bladder...
Emmitt: Please don’t, my love.
Bria: I’m so proud! She’s good!
Emmitt: She’s amazing!
Later...
Bria: Baby!!! That was amazing! You were so good! Your dad and I are so proud of you!
Ella: Thanks, mom! Did you see my pirouette? Miss Debra says its been getting better!
Debra laughs: Yes, Ella is simply marvelous. I really believe she has a future in ballet. If I were you, I’d consider some more private training for Ella.
Bria: Really? And you’re not just saying this because you offer private training, right?
Debra chuckles: Oh no, while we do offer private training, I do more of the class training myself, but my wife can help you find the best tutor for Ella within our company. I really believe Ella has a natural talent.
Emmitt: Well, I don’t see why not! Right, honey?
Ella: Yay!
Bria: Alright, sign us up!
Thanks again @budgie2budgie for these adorable ballet decos!

Ella yawns: How can Vick even think about that man’s hotness when he is that intense?! I am never going to get sleep at this rate.
??? singsongy: Oh, Ellaaaaaa?
Ella sighs: Yes, Karlee? What do you want?
Karlee: Um, can’t a girl come say hi to one of her closest friends? Jeez.
Ella: Me? Since when am I-
Karlee: I wanted to introduce you to someone. Luka, this is Ella, Ella, this is Luka. He’s the captain of the football team which you probably didn’t know since you’re all gung ho for ballet or whatever.
Luka: Hi, Ella. Nice to meet you.
Ella: Hi... nice to meet you, too.
Karlee: Anyway, now that introductions are out of the way, what are you doing tonight, Elle?
Ella: Um, I don’t know. Probably homework and then sleep. Ballet class kicked my butt today.
Karlee: I have an even better and less lame idea! How about you come with us down to the quarry?
Luka: Yeah, a few of us are heading there after practice. It should be fun. Bonfire, swimming, all that good stuff.
Ella: I don’t know... isn’t the quarry closed by the time practice is over?
Karlee: Ella! Will you stop worrying? Would I, one of your dearest and bestest friends, steer you in the wrong direction?
Ella: Uhh... do you want me to answer that or...?
Luka: My dad works for the SBI. I can gaurantee you we’ll be fine. Plus, I’d be really psyched if you joined.
Ella confused: You would?
Karlee: Of course he would. We all would. Watcher, Elle! We’ll pick you up at 8:30! Wear something cute!
Luka: See you there, Ella.
Ella: Um, see you there... Luka!
