I ended up using a character that I had created for a different challenge, and it was so much to take her out for a spin. @sulsulia did such an amazing job creating the set, the concept, the accompanied posts (ie. the entertainment.) I'm truly inspired by her effort, and it was such a wonderful change to get such a warm response from a host. Seriously. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your energy! I'm gonna do next year big. Promise.
Also, on some random journal type of ish, I said this to a friend:
[Anne] is so friggin' gorgeous. Drag queens are like unicorns or vampires or some other kind of occult creature. I know it doesn't want me to touch it, but I'm drooling from the sensory overload, and I know that given a second of cognitive function I'm touchin' it. Doin' it.
