I say "um" about 100 times in this video as I try to give advice and explain some nuances of the game. Watch as I fail to explain a trick I used to quickly gain 10,000 population.
Pretty good summary of SimCity Social and free-play gaming on FB in general.
These guys make great cases against the wall notification spam, the scammy vibes, and the free-to-play business model. I'm honestly OK with all that. I just wish I had 50+ friends who would want to play cooperatively despite the annoyances. I love Sim anything!
I love when people who I haven't talked to in forever start playing the same facebook game as me and we both start sending things to each other and I'm like GOD WHY HAVEN'T I TALKED TO YOU IN FOREVER? WHY WERE WE NEVER CLOSE?!?
