We open with Darin De Paul dressed as an old-timey music hall announcer, staring into your soul and enunciating “There will be… MADNESS”. Oh boy, alright, this is not at all creepy as hell. (I love him.)

Right away, the game does *not* fuck around. When the tower falls, the character leaves the game? So there’s no way for everyone to be OK? Uhhhh…
“This building is old. 70-80 years old.” *laughs in European* OK, I’ll focus on the spirit of “old” rather than numerical age.

Introducing characters in a one-on-one prelude with the GM is scary under normal circumstances, but there’s something even more vulnerable going on here, because they’re on a dressed set with props and a distinct sense of place. The GM isn’t across the table behind the screen, he’s right there, right up in your grill.
Fenly is sitting down, and Ivan kneels to get below his eye-level, leans forward intimately.
What I’m saying is, the storyteller/player dynamic is *riveting*. I’m fully bought in, and the story hasn’t even started yet.
It's missing Sagas of Sundry: Madness hours again lads c': It was such an absolutely incredible show... every Halloween since it was released it became my personal tradition to watch it again. Really sad I won't be able to this year, and sad in general that this amazing show has been lost to the void ;w;
If anyone has any downloads for the episodes avaliable somewhere, please hit me up, I am sad and desperate to see my emotionally traumatized bbys again </3
