oc october day 2 - simmaeri

thousands of years ago, she was a giant, magical, dinosaur-dragon-thing (i’ve never wholly decided; i think i like dinosaur better bc i don’t want her to have wings). when people started showing up in the world, she decided to change her shape to suit them so she could travel and learn the languages and songs they made.

by the time chemin is born, she’s lived many many years as many things, but always in the same shape. she can’t be a magical dinosaur anymore, but she doesn’t regret it. she knows hundreds upon thousands of languages and songs and that makes her hapy.
