Hair and makeup tweaking complete. Before/After

I originally made Candace as a gift sim for someone who didn’t want any CC at all (not even my beloved patterns), so her original form is all official. I actually didn’t change a whole lot between these two photos. I gave her CC hair, 3D eyelashes, and changed the color of her blush but not the blush itself. She also kept her original eyeliner, so it’s basically just those three changes. Now on to her wardrobe...

My Simple Sim Makeovers: Riley Family

So, I opted for a pale skin instead. Actually, I think what I settled on eventually is still a ‘blue’ skin, but it’s set all the way to the left as light as it would go. I toyed with the idea of giving her dark skin instead. Her features are a good match for it, but... Candace is the only sim in the cast with ‘negative’ traits (Diva, Kleptomaniac, Ambitious, etc.), so making her one of only two dark skinned sims in the cast would not have felt right to me.

I think giving her a pale skin makes for more contrast between her skin and clothing, etc. so I plan to stick with this. Yes, there’s still an odd ‘blue bridge’ over her nose. I cannot for the life of me figure out what that is. It isn’t eyeshadow or blush or eyeliner, and that’s all I can say.

I do still need to give her some better lipstick. The one she’s wearing is still basegame I realize as I look at these pictures.

Also, these photos are a bit dark. This is... semi-deliberate. Candace is not well off. I haven’t actually ‘played’ her at all yet in any game. While she has high ambitions, at the moment all her $$ has been spent mostly on her wardrobe and even her home is pretty bare bones. There’s no artwork, and one of the rooms even lacks any furniture. She’s got about $50 to her name right now, so she doesn’t have the funds to have a well-lit home. That will change eventually... but after this I went ahead and added some buydebug lights so my photos wouldn’t be so dark.

Sim Makeover 6/? - I love the name Jordan, it’s like my favorite name, so I end up using it a lot randomly lol and his last name was randomized...but it made it looks like I was trying to go for Micheal Jordan or something and I wasn’t <<; just saying ~

Jordan is a gardener, he spends his entire day working  either his own or others’ gardens. He’s always had a super green thumb, since he was a child. Working with plants makes Jordan happy in ways that he can’t put into words, and he feels most confident while in the dirt. The most rewarding part of growing his own vegetables is that he gets to use them while he’s cooking. There’s something so much better about home-grown veggies, it’s turned him into a bit of a foodie. Mostly he’s a goofball though, he loves to joke and mess around.
