Nixon has messaged the group to see if anyone was awake and wanted to join him for a midnight snack. Bianca replied, inquiring if it was chocolate and Nixon assured her the kitchen had many forms of chocolate so she joined him.
He was curious as to what had her away at this hour and she sheepishly responded, first curious if it was corny if she said thinking of him. “Definitely not corny..” He chuckled and pressed her further, offering her a thought for a thought. She accepted and proceeded to tell him she had been wondering why a guy like him was single.
This was a question he knew would come up. Midori joined them before he answered and he waited until she was settled in the conversation to answer, explaining how he’d generally had bad luck in the romance department and about the loss he’d suffered a few years back. TO his relief neither girl pressed about the loss or even asked about it further.
The three of them are cookie and chocolates, drank some milk and then headed to bed. Each in their own bed of course!
