TMayNT Day 30: Favorite Human Villain
I'm sorry, but I love Simon Bonesteel from The Next Mutation. He's such a weird guy, a mix between Kraven the Hunter and Ace Ventura, a poacher with outrageous mannerisms and character tics. He's silly enough that the Turtles don't take him seriously, but also dangerous enough that he almost gets them a few times.
Just finished "Hunted" (S03E08). Did,,, did I just meet the '03 version of Simon Bonesteel? And they, like, immediately killed him? Um, hold on a sec. Wiki says his name was Mr. Marlin? Oh, and there's a Jack Marlin in Mirage. Hmm. Alright then.

Nut job “great white hunter” who names his weapons and acts like they’re real women.
Seem to be a trend, but I gotta say, Bonesteel from Next Mutation was way more fun. I attribute that to Scott McNeil being a wicked cool guy willing to be playful and not afraid to make fun of himself or his roles.❤️

In case you thought Bonesteel is pointing a huge lego at you - this is an ancient japanese multi barrel rifle he calls Miyumi.
Also why would anyone bring back characters from the least liked tmnt itteration ever? Because the stakes are so low! If I would write a beloved well known character from the comics or the other shows into my fanfiction, I might not meet people's expectations. But when it comes to Long Wang (the Dragon Lord) or Bonesteel I can only win, since they are so easy to improve. But not everything that scratches the bottom of the barrel is easy to improve ... In fact, Dr. Queeze (that whitewashed Dollar store edition of Stockman) and Wick are hopeless. So they didn't return for my fanfic.
The subject of [Ninja] Turtles games came up the other day, and I considered that there was never really a The Next Mutation game [apparently, there almost was]
So here’s a quick mockup of what it could be like. Basically like Turtles in Time, but with Next Mutation characters and settings
