Haha yes I did! The worst he could do is not respond but social media (when used respectfully) is a good tool to bridge the gap between creators and audiences.
If people outside of France are interested in seeing République, I'd actually encourage you to message him too. It's good to know the interest is there if they do decide to develop an international version.
It's possible there are countries beyond France that are already able to download it (all i know is that it's not available in the US yet), but here's the link from @ladyonfire28 if you want to try.
