cried my eyes out while making this edit. set it in paul’s pov. i tried to imply many things here - how paul’s religion and his love tie together (aka art and his voice being an “angel” or “angelic”, usual descriptors by paul), plus many more themes that are subtly laced.

i also did my best to root out every song writing lyric that the two could’ve written about the other or picked out lyrics that fit the imagery of the two. considered putting art’s poetry in, but decided not to.
