20. cuddling Oh, of my characters Tajorinen is a star cuddler. For all of Simonery's fuss about falling in love and being seen to like anyone, when he does give into his interest in Tajorinen that tiny, frightened man gets CUDDLED. Tajorinen is jaguarfolk and when particularly pleased will purr up a storm, let alone being super warm and muscular. He curls around Simonery, purrs right into his neck and shoulder and snuggles him right up every chance he gets. It's not very often, mind-- but when it happens? It's the best.

35.wake-up kisses Femi has learned that if she's going to kiss Irastenys to wake him up, she's gotta be quick about it and pull away just in time-- that man wakes up with a start no matter what, no matter how peaceful or gentle or how long he's slept, so if she kisses him and lingers at it, she's going to get headbutt. Irastenys will be terribly sorry for it, of course, it's always on accident, but Femi is fearless, so even with that risk she'll kiss him and take her chances.

Femi’s best friend is Simonery! She’s friendly with most people, but that’s her ride or die right there. I think this friendship was kind of an adoption of sorts lmao- Simonery and Femi are not very much alike, and you’d think at times that they’re not particularly compatible, but Femi sees in Simonery someone who deserves somebody in his corner so she’s stuck around to be that person and Simonery, even if he’s a cactus about being close to people, always helps her if he can and gravitates towards her- it seems like Simonery finds Femi to be just the right amount of sociable lol. They’re both harmless gossips too lol- Simonery really has to keep some secrets completely under wraps, but when it comes to court goss? They have a great time. I think occasionally Femi has a bit of a crush on Simonery too, there’s moments where he shows himself to be incredibly lovable, resourceful, reliable- all those things ring Femi’s bell, but best friends is safer for both of them, so best friends is what she’ll take. She would probably even admit to that interest if she didn’t feel certain it’d scare him off lol. But yeah, Simonery is her bestie, and she would absolutely cut a bitch for him lol
