This homemade balsamic vinaigrette is a flavorful and versatile dressing that pairs perfectly with any salad. It's easy to make and adds a tangy sweetness to your greens.
Ingredients: 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar. 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil. 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard. 1 clove garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon maple syrup or agave nectar. Salt and black pepper to taste.
Instructions: Add the Dijon mustard, minced garlic, maple syrup or agave nectar, and balsamic vinegar to a small bowl. Use a whisk to mix the ingredients well. Add the olive oil slowly while whisking all the time until the dressing becomes emulsified. To taste, add salt and black pepper. To let the flavors blend, put the dressing in a container with a lid and put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving. Before you use, shake it well.
