this post made me think about luke walking around with one of those pocket spanish-english dictionaries and just saying random words in spanish just for julie.

depsite how annoying it is to hear him say “naranja” everytime she gets orange juice from the fridge, she loves it.

(he also pronouces it with the j sound until alex hears him one day and calls him a fucking idiot)

i’ve been seeing a lot of episode four gifs today and it made me realize that was like peak juke flirtation. like the ‘yeah, alex get w the program’ scene or the scene where she tells the guys about the dance, those scenes were very flirty. but then the dance happened and he broke her trust and the flirting from there on was much more modest (i.e. hallway scene, porch scene, or the fact that a key part of our juke journey was in her head). and that’s obviously bc luke knew he hurt her so he was a lot more reserved and julie was reforming her trust w luke which made her more cautious. just like *screams internally*.

no bc i was doing my daily insta stalking and @lovelyrugbee posted on her story “i cant believe we got a wedding before they even dated” in reference to the bridge of finally free. which made me realize...THE LYRICS ARE LITERALLY LIKE WEDDDING VOWS WHAT. if they aren’t standing at the alter reciting the bridge of finally free to eachother i don’t want it.
