Dude, I need an always on reverb, preferably small, thinking EQD but no idea what they offer. Kind of considering ditching the El Cap and getting a dispatch maker? Pretty much only use delay to texture my clean tone and for jazzing up slide & lead stuff.
I really like EQD's Dispatch Master. I experienced clock noise when I had mine, but I was using a One Spot at the time. They are REALLY good for chill behind the scenes sort of sounds. Can be super over the top or real subtle.
Starting with reverb and mentioning the El Cap threw me off a bit though. You still need delay, Ben, or nah? The Dispatch Master is a good fit I think but what sounds are you going for. Just light behind the signal pretty far shit? The MXR Carbon Copy is literally one of my favorite things for that. Mix down pretty far, repeats kinda high, and time to taste. The added subtle modulation helps too.
