Its finally here! The full final version of my senior film from my time at SCAD, Vines! A super big thanks to my two roommates and Simply misty for help with backgrounds! And of coarse, Jo Swenson for the wonderful original score! Vines was a really great learning experience. Unlike most films in production I never felt like I was off schedule over the coarse of its production even though all the animation and compositing was done by myself. I think the reason for all that was I was decidedly unambitious. I got the tip from a senior whose film I was working on that its really the wisest to shoot for a film thats about a 1:30 and boy was I glad I did. Most importantly I wanted the film to be 2D rigged to not only simplify the film by not needing clean up but also put my skills with Harmony animating to the test. End of the day I really wish I had done a lot of things differently with the rig, animation, and story, but I'm proud that I got something so completely finished done with only the help of a small handful of people. In the future I want to use this experience to increase my skills in Harmony animating and focus more on polish.
