I meant to send this to you earlier, but for the OC questions !!! I want to learn about ALL your OCs and questions 2, 3, 5, and 10! If that's too much, then maybe 1-2 characters of your choosing for those questions? ; v ;

Yay thank youuu!!! and omg no I am always down to just over talk and over share about ALL my OCs :’D (though true doing actually all of them would be...a task, but I’ll do the main ones I had in the tags for this set of asks ;3c ) Though also whoops I apologize in advance if some of this is vague/confusing since like, I’m only answering the question and not giving full backstories, hopefully things still make sense !! ;;v;; (and putting this under a read more because it GETS LONG)

2. What is the thing they feel the most guilty about?

Alexis: Dying! Well. Mostly actually coming back from the dead. Because it only made things harder for his family and he feels he doesn’t “deserve” a second chance at life.

Nysaris: This boy is so bad at feeling guilt. But, he might regret some of the harsher things he said to his husband towards the beginning of their arranged marriage (...might...he’s probably not there yet tbh like he is very full of himself and rarely admits to/believes he’s in the wrong).

Idal’ia: The death of Braden - or mainly that she wasn’t able to stop it from happening, she may have been full of herself and didn’t have the best attitude with him but she did care about him, and also was sad Mako had to find his body along with Jory’s (who she also regrets letting die).

Vittorio: Not stopping the faction of demons that had falsely installed itself as a “government” that had been torturing and subjugating humans sooner. He honestly probably wishes he couldn’t killed them all before they were full grown.

Alma: Hooo boy where to start. This girl’s got a past. :’D She did a lot of things following the wrong people that she regrets, and has immense guilt over. So mainly, a lot of things, that hurt a lot of people, that she’s gonna live with for a long time.

Isu: Their little sister’s death. It wasn’t their fault, but that’s how grief ended up treating them.

3. What is the worst pain they’ve ever experienced?

Alexis: Death via car accident. It was Pretty Bad and Not Quick. So uh. That, definitely wins. (Hey when he comes back from the dead his ability to sense pain is greatly diminished, does that make it better?? No? ohh...well :’D )

Nysaris: Answered!

Idal’ia: GIRL’S A BOUNTY HUNTER so like, probably just run of the mill getting shot by space lasers etc ;v;

Vittorio: He’s definitely fought other demons before so likely a form of magic. 

Alma: (little preface, she’s from a story I only have vague ideas for but her story arc/things that happen to her are the most developed and I usually switch between her being pre- and post-THIS EXPERIENCE so it’s a pretty serious one :’D ) She gets into a huge fight that, among other injuries, essentially ends up shattering her right leg. It gets put back together but it doesn’t look pretty, and takes a long time before she’s up and moving again.

Isu: Slamming the car door on their hair and not noticing before they started walking away. 

5. List 3 fears; one “surface level” fear, one “repressed” fear, and one “deep dark” fear.

Alexis:  (hehe oh boy this is gonna get DARK. FUN.) Surface level fear is a deep rooted fear of loneliness and never being loved (I know, surface level, and we’ve already hit this LET’S BUCKLE IN). Repressed fear is the fear he might’ve been aware of what he was doing when he blew the red light and got hit, that maybe some part of him had consciously done that hoping to die and he’d gotten his wish and even fucked that up by coming back to life (or that had been a punishment) - but this is repressed because it’s not something he’s even sure of, and it isn’t a thought that comes up often unless something triggers the thought etc. Deep dark fear is that he’s just a manipulative selfish person, that because he so desperately wants attention or love or to not be alone that he does horrible things to people without realizing, that he isn’t genuine, and that there’s something just wrong with him that means he doesn’t deserve good things. (GOD I love this boy despite making him SUFFER SO MUCH I AM SORRY I DO LOVE HIM)

Nysaris: Surface level fear is...Djinn. :’D (good going marrying one) Repressed fear is...really hard to find for him, a lot of things are out in the open for him and he doesn’t keep fears locked away really? Also outside of Djinn he kind of thinks he’s untouchable. Deep dark fear is that he won’t be able to hold everything together for his people. That he’s not a good enough prince, and that he can’t do what’s best for them. 

Idal’ia: Surface level fear is losing friends/family. :’) Repressed fear is...also something I’m going to have to work on. I’m not very far in her story yet so it’s hard to judge right now, and same for Deep Dark Fear unfortunately :’)

Vittorio: Surface level fear is not being able to protect people. Repressed fear is a lot of worry surrounding his younger sister and how as she’s not terribly good at magic there was a lot of talk about her illegitimacy and talk of her being unworthy to even be a part of the royal family - things that he helped get rid of. Deep dark fear is having to face his own family members if they were to suddenly decide to become tyrants, or slowly become just as bad as the demons who torture humans (he wouldn’t ever want to kill family but well, he truly believes in peace for all above peace for few).

Alma: Surface level fear is getting captured by ... well, any of the numerous groups of people she has crossed before, but captivity in general is something she would hate. Repressed fear is some of the hazing shit she went through when she was younger, a lot of not so fun experiences that are pretty repressed but often come to light. Deep dark fear is that some of the things she’s done are things that can be atoned for, no matter how much good she does.

Isu: Surface level fear is bad fashion (on other people). Repressed fear is everything surrounding their sister’s death. Deep dark fear is that they’ll never be able to settle into a place fully, that they can’t make up their mind easily enough or choose something they’re passionate enough about to ever do something worth while.

10. What is their greatest mental weakness?

Alexis: His self-doubt and anxiety...;;v;;

Nysaris: His pride.

Idal’ia: Her cockiness.

Vittorio: Thinking he can do everything.

Alma: Taking responsibility for things that weren’t all on her.

Isu: How judgmental they are.
