It was nights like this Alphonse was kind of glad he didnt need to sleep. Him and his brother had been on their own in this strange world for who knows how long, and Ed was exhausted. No one they met seemed to take kindly to the military, and that didnt end well for Ed. The teen was exhausted, fast asleep between Al’s legs and leaning against his chest.
They were both a little roughed up, Al’s armor was covered in dings and scratches and Ed was covered in cuts and scrapes that were bandaged now. They had found what looked like an abandoned campsite to stop at for the night; it had some food and basic comforts for Edward, none of which Al really needed.
He had been relaxed, zoning out somewhat until he heard something not far away. The noise causing him to sit straight up and look around.
“Hello? Whos there? I dont wanna have to hurt you, so you better show yourself if you can understand me!”
