Now, I normally don't read a lot of Clex related fan fiction outside of Tumblr, considering it's very difficult to find good stories that isn't strictly slash related. And because of that, I'm going to recommend for you to check out some of my best friends within the Clex Community and Tumblr period.
Because they have some really amazing Clex related stories, they're extremely talented and they just write beautifully. Their stuff is both Bromance, but also slash, if you like that sort of thing. So you can choose to read whatever you so desire. If you just like Bromance, they've marked their stories so you can decide for yourself. :')
Simplysubterfuge's Clex Tag (She writes a lot of flawless stuff, even though she's only been writing in the Smallville/Clex world for a while now. Some of her stories are slash related, some are Bromance, but regardless of such, her stories are amazing either way. She tags her Slash so you can strictly go to the Bromance if you choose, she's got a great handle of the characters, an awesome style of writing, and is just so very awesome that I think you'll really like her stuff! :D)
McSourWolf's Fan Fiction Tag (She mostly writes the friendship version of their relationship, but she ships them like crazy. She's very talented, writes lot of fun stuff, as well as emotional things, and got some great head canons. So, because of that, I would highly recommend checking out her Clex tag as well! She's got great views on their relationship and I know that you will *surely* have fun with her ideas!)
Timdrakeisgay's Clex Tag (And incredibly talented writer. She writes some really adorable, very emotional, and totally awesome in character Clex fan fiction that explores their friendship in a really fun and exciting way! :D She only has two fan fictions stuffed in her tags, but they're really great and fun to read! :))
Reddawnrumble's Fan Fiction Tag (An insanely passionate, talented, wonderfully adorable writer who clearly enjoys writing the Lex and Clark friendship, gets their relationship perfectly, and writes such great, in character, brotherly pieces that you will surely fall in love the moment you first read them! She has pieces that are both angst as well as fluff, and sometimes both at the same time! So I would highly suggest you go check her out! You won't be disappointed! :))
For other Clex related recommendations, I would suggest you check out my good friend Jakegreen's Clex Rec on her blog. Most of it is slash, but there are friendship pieces down at the very bottom. She knows the Clex Fic world better than I, and I'm sure you'll be able to find something yummy! :D

As for two of my own recs that aren't related to my friends tags. Would I suggest first checking out this wonderful, beautiful, amazing piece by a precious friend of mine?
They grasp the relationship between Lex and Clark perfectly, execute it an a way that will have you flailing all over the place when you retch the fluff after all the angst, and it's just so beautifully written with much big brotherly Lex that you will probably fall in love with their versions of the characters--as well as their writing style straight away! Seriously, check it out! You won't be disappointed! :D

And here's one more rec that I can give you. It's called "Inbetween The Memories" and fills in the blank with a very awesome scene from the Season Three Episode "Memoria" and is just all kinds of beautiful. There's so much worried Lex fluff, some good Lex and Clark angst, a lot of great interaction between the two boys, and there's also some wonderful Martha/Clark feelings near the very end! I'm sure you will probably enjoy it!
