95. Can you think of a movie where one scene had ruined the whole thing? Jason Bourne. I was so excited for more Bourne movie and then they killed [redacted] and ruined the whole thing. I was LIVID.

I agree with your post on endgame culture! I want healthy happy relationship before anything. The idea of endgame is so old and tired, and often linked with fan drama yeah.

Endgame culture causes more trouble within fandoms than anything else IMO. It’s just so TIRING.

I cant decide if daniel calling out louis on his mistakes in his first interview is a narrative device to justify the reboot, or if there is a real story behind it

I think that coupled with the part where Daniel asks Louis if it was raining and he can't quite put it together are kind of a way to introduce how the vampires (all of them) are unreliable narrators. Things could be different from account to account and there are different accounts of each event. Especially with how we are getting Claudia's POV next episode, and later on Lestat's and maybe even some Armand stuff.

(Reading the vampire lestat) lestat hooked up with armand?? And he enjoyed being drained by him and describes it as a "1000 times more pleasurable" than when he drains a mortal?? Boy what a mess, I love it.

Its so messy, they are so messy!!! And it adds a whole other thing to Armand and Louis's thing and when Lestat shows back up in Interview. They are just a bunch of mad exes at karaoke picking songs to piss each other off and then Lestat and Louis are back together (again) making out in the corner and Armand is like *mad penguin crossed arms meme*. I love The Vampire Lestat what a dramatic book.

The show seems to have kept the anne rice rule about dead blood being dangerous to vampires, as lestat instructs louis in the cemetery. Yet we see modern louis drinking blood that came from a blood bag. Am I missing something?

Well they can drink it it just tastes bad. Like in the movie where Louis and Lestat put the rat blood in the wine glasses and it goes cold and gross to them. A bigger issue is drinking through a victim's death. That can momentarily weaken a vampire and put them in a vulnerable position especially close to sunrise. Lestat drinks from dead bodies several times, including the poisoned body Claudia gives him later. Hell, he drinks someone to death in Vampire Lestat and goes "well that kind of sucked" and keeps going.
