So I found my CD player for my PC, which means some fun with the Sims 1.
I have been feeling a bit down seeing how much Sims 1 CC has been lost over time, especially since now younger players have access to the game due to the re-release.
To help with that, I have been trying to make CC myself. I have been trying to find old tutorials and tools, not always an easy thing to find with so many websites down, but I started the process by doing some texture mashups so I can learn how the meshes in the Sims 1 work.
I haven't made much but I find learning new things helps when you get stuck on repetitive tasks. I have frequently been getting stuck trying to figure out what next to DR in the Sims 2 to the point that I get distracted from actually playing, so I am trying to play other games to either inspire some ideas or get my mind off of it.
