Happy Anniversary to TM The Emperor and Empress!
Today is the 37th wedding anniversary of Emperor Eric IV and Empress Katrina. They married in the Newcrest Imperial Palace on 4 April 1984, the 33rd wedding anniversary of the Emperor’s parents, Emperor Haudran II and Empress Ilene.
The then-newly titled Crown Princess Katrina wore a pure white wedding gown with large puffy sleeves and lace detail around the collar, a layered face veil, and the Empress Tara Cameo Tiara.

Millions in the continent watched as the 18-year-old Lunaria-native married the Crown Prince, who will be turning 16 in December. In accordance with Newcresti Imperial Law, established in 1591, the heir to the throne, if chosen before he or she turned 13, is to marry by the time they are 18 years old. Eric was appointed as Crown Prince at age 8, upon the death of his grandfather, Emperor Damian VI, in 1976. Eric met Katrina through Crown Prince Arden in May 1982, and Miss Kensley was introduced to Emperor Haudran II in March 1983. Crown Prince Eric and Miss Katrina Kensley announced their engagement the day after the latter’s graduation from secondary school, in December 1983.
Their Majesties plan to hold a private celebration with family at the home of their eldest daughter, Princess Melaura.
