I’m a struggling single mom with a disabled teen son who I care for. Up until recently I also cared for my elderly disabled mother, but she passed away last month. 

Financially we have been strapped, especially with my mother’s small social security not coming in anymore. Taking care of both of them was so time- consuming I could barely work; our savings depleted and I maxed out my credit cards to pay for her funeral.

Because my son needs me available, I can’t work outside the home or on a strict schedule, so I get by with web content writing royalties mostly. I’ve been doing this for years and while it doesn’t make me rich, we scrape by.

I am trying to generate more income by writing Sims 4 articles. In my toughest times the last couple of years, The Sims 4 has been my escape from a tough reality, and has given me great joy and lots of laughs.
