Generation 1, Chapter 11 (1.11) – The Cone of Shame

Previously on the Pickering Legacy Challenge…

The townies got judgy about Luna Villareal’s pregancy. But at Casa de Pickering, it’s all free love.

The twins adore other… And big brother Cadet feels much more reasonably towards them, these days. That’s because he’s aged up!

Child Cadet has somehow misplaced his adorable specs. He enjoys the colour green; eating breakfast with one of his parents, on their bed, while the other sleeps; and Pan-Fried Tilapia.

The smell Azure wakes up to must be terrible.

Cadet rolled the Neat trait, presumably inherited from Alexandrea, his Neat, Clumsy, Bookworm mother. He got her colouring, too – the twins have Azure’s bright blue eyes and light-brown hair, but Cadet got Alexandrea’s dark hair and dark eyes.

With two toddlers in the house, that Neat trait comes in hugely useful.

‘Those twins. Sitting on their plums while I mop up the strange paint-and-talcum-powder mess they made. Good job cleaning makes my Fun metre go up. This house would fall apart without me.’

Cadet’s cleaning is especially helpful, as Neat Alexandrea, usually our house cleaner, is a little preoccupied. We recently had our first trip to the vet: Asshole Cat has Winterfest Fever!

This sounds absolutely terrifying, but in reality, he just had glowing nose and turned blue. He hissed at the vet (Nina Caliente. Really??) who tried to get him on the table, so we knew he was fine.

Because we’re not made of money (nice as it is to see Sims vets rob pet owners blind, just like real life vets), Asshole Cat gets the cheap treatment, and comes home in the cone of shame.

Asshole Cat has to sleep sitting up, with his cone – but even in his sleep, he manages to look murderous. Quite the achievement, Asshole Cat. We applaud you.
