Palais de Marbre

Long time no post, so I decided to share a new building, that is very special to my heart. The Palais de Marbre is the main residence of the Grand Duchesse Marie Louise of Brindleton Bay. As one may recoginze, it is based on the beautiful Grand Trianon in Versailles. Event he rooms are based on the interiors I love the most there. I recoloured many things to match and do the interiors justice. So I hope you like it as much as I do

You enter the building on the side and will find yourself in the vestibule

From there one has the opportunities to enter the official rooms and the private rooms of the Grand Duchesse. So first the more public ones - the Galerie des Cotelle for dancing or other court events

Next to it is the Salon de reception or Salon des Malachites. It is intented for audiences and filled with presents of the Tsar of Russia to the Grand Duchesse made out of malachite.

The first more privat room is the so called ‘Salon de la Chapelle’ which is used as a private dining room. The name comes from the small alcove, which can be closed, where a small chapelle is located

Next to it is the most important and biggest room - the Chambre de la Grand Duchesse - parted by columns from the Cabinet de la Toilette

At the end of the enfilade is the Salon des Glaces, which is used as private salon by the sovereign for entertaining and studying her creative interests like music and painting

Behind those rooms are the most intimate ones, like the bathroom

There you can directly enter the alcove in the bedroom and with this shot - my favourite one - I close this little tour :)

I made a massive oversight when making this, and that's the fact that I put the textures for the bow in the glasses category. I didn't think about this, because I don't use eyelashes on my sims and rarely glasses in historical saves. I plan to fix this eventually, but it's a little frustrating so forgive me. So the version with the bow on the bust is not compatible with glasses meaning some eyelashes will not work. I'm so sorry about this, I'll fix it at some point ;w; I promise

I tried to refine it as best I could, sadly there are a lot of issues with the weights that I just really don't know how to fix, so there's a lil bit of clipping, but nothing too crazy? however I don't know how to go about fixing it but if I find out I want to come back and update it so it's properly refined and has no issues!

well well well.

I thought of a pretty fun idea, and turned my cc into a fashion plate!! wowie. it was a lot of fun, however i wish I did something more... regency rather than the plain brown dress. idk maybe im delusional but it's giving old western ToT

anyways, if this is familiar it's because it's an edit of one of my old dresses, specifically the plain jane dress. it's a long sleeve version that I made eons ago, made some edits, did the textures and here we are! the not-so-plain jane dress. it's just got some lace, I might make a version without said lace though.

Hello friends! I come with a pelisse-style outfit. A long coat that was inspired by Austen's Pelisse (however, not at all accurate).

It's a simple winter coat that comes in 41 swatches from my colour palette. I decided not to include patterns as they weren't coming out very well. I think I want to really revamp my patterns, as I fear I'll never be happy with them, loool. We'll see.

Prairie Dreams Morning Gown

edit of one of the dresses from prairie dreams to be in my usual colour palette and to be an empire waist. works as a morning dress (probably include some modesty elements though like a fichu, shawl or some sort of collar/undershirt.) or it can be used as a night gown or a chemise. i suppose, I added a stark white swatch for it to be used as an underdress if you like.
