Chomp chomp!  Two halves of a 13th century English indenture. The same text was written on both halves, then cut (across the word "Cirograffia") so they could be matched should either party later challenge the document.

Three treatises on astronomy and arithmetic finished in the year 1028 AH (1619 CE) by ʻAbd al-Ghanī ibn ʻAbd al-Qādir Qāyinī. Diagrams in red and black, border ruling in blue and gold. Some pages have gold sprinkles!

Ms. Codex 964 - Cahier de chansons 

 A collection of approximately 120 short poems, mostly love poems. It was written in France in 1783, with poems in French.
