So I have a save in the sims 4 for usuk and I also made the rest of the UK brothers, Matthew and recently Francis. Alfred and Arthur got engaged and I decided to make a family reunion kinda thing and had Alfred, Matthew, Arthur and his brother's together. Everything was normal and fine unTIL ALL OF ARTHUR’S BROTHER'S STARTED HITTING ON ALFRED, LIKE OMG. And Arthur was literally sitting right in front of them, smiling as if it was the most normal thing ever. First Dylan (Wales) started flirting with him. Then Seamus (N. Ireland) started hitting on him and blowing him kisses. Then Alistair literally just GRABBED him and KISSED him right behind Arthur and he's like??? So OK?? With it, like huh??? Usually sims get immediately jealous but Arthur didn't even bat an eye on it and it was the funniest and most confusing thing I have ever witnessed omg.
One thing that I really love abt gsgw is that there’s never really a full sense of goodbye with any of the characters. Like kse is just really good at saying ‘see you again later’. I think in a lot of shows/books/whatever, Braun’s goodbye would be a signal to the reader that we’re moving on, this arc is closed now, but instead we get a promise to see each other again. Which is neat! It’s a very conspicuous flag that we’re going to come back to them in the future in a way that doesn’t diminish the anticipation at all (as opposed to a surprise cameo or red herring, etc)
I’m sure this doesn’t bode badly for kse’s plans to return home at all.
Me @ iwol after ch203:
KIM IWOL????? I THINK YOU DO GET IT THOUGH?????
It’s funny how they followed up the story where the main character who took over the identity of the previous hero eventually finds resolution by deciding to be himself with the story of the main character who starts out by establishing his own identity and eventually takes over the position and identity of the previous hero (therefore losing what made him unique/appealing to begin with). Ahaha. This is not devastating at all.
Kim Iwol would take this (spark’s fans learning about how to manage their loans and getting into real estate) as a win and that is why I Hate This Man (affectionate)
I appreciate that the only way to get Kim Iwol to take a break is to literally prevent him from using anything that lets him do work
And by ‘appreciate’ I mean that I want to strangle him so bad
