Sinaka Kyralih through the ages~ I really wish the harddrive that held all of my 1.0 screenshots wasn’t lost to time, but whatcha gonna do? Lol. Back then she was a Seeker (whaaaat??) but turned Keeper at the last beta test stage wherein we could actually save the character model XD.

“An interview?” she repeated, sighing through her nose at the affirmation and settling back into her seat. There were other things she’d prefer to be doing, but if they found her here there was no doubt that they’d find her at home, and they looked serious enough about getting the information. “Okay, but I’m not exactly interesting. Go ahead.”

▌Asked someone to marry you ? - One brow arched incredulously, her ears going back in discomfort. This interview was off to an odd start, and if this was how it was starting, she may end up needing to find an exit. “No.” ▌Kissed one of your friends ? - She started to shake her head, her mouth opening with a quick negative, but paused, her eyes angling down and to the left, and instead nodded, softly replying, “Yes.” ▌Danced on a table in a bar or tavern ? She smirked, recalling an event at the quicksand years ago and looked back at her Elezen interviewer, much more comfortable with this question than the previous two. Her response held hints of pride and remembered fun as she answered, “Yes.” ▌Ever told a lie ? - She rolled her eyes, crossing her arms, thinking, ‘Show me someone who hasn’t and I’ll show you a liar.’ Out loud, she answered in an almost bored tone, “Never maliciously.” ▌Had feelings for someone whom you can’t have ? - She furrowed her brows, the hope that they were off of that kind of question drifting away as she considered skipping the question. Her tail tapped in the seat beside her. Finally she replied quickly in a soft voice, “Yes,” and hoped that’d be the end of it. ▌Ever kissed someone of the opposite sex ? - It wasn’t. “Yes.” ▌Ever kissed someone of the same sex ? - How many more of these - “Yes,” she replied, but felt the interviewer should consider a definition for kissing. ▌Kissed a picture ? - The answering look of confusion wasn’t enough to move on, so she replied, “No, who does that?” ▌Slept in until 5pm ? - “I’m a Keeper; back when my family lived in the Shroud I didn’t used to get up until 5 pm, and that was considered early.” What kind of interviewer...? ▌Fallen asleep at work or school ? “Never attended school,” She answered openly and without ire or remorse. She sat up straighter and uncrossed her arms, and expanded on her answer, hoping to keep the Elezen on these topics rather than the uncomfortably personal ones. She smirked playfully, “Though I would purposefully doze off when family members were trying to teach me something boring.” ▌Held a snake ? - “Ate a snake,” she winked. ▌Been suspended from school ? - “Never attended, but I was held back from a few hunts for disappearing and that’s close enough, right?” ▌Worked at a fast food chain/restaurant ? - “No, luckily for Eorzea.”  ▌Stolen something ?   - “Stolen something back for its rightful owner,” she modified. ▌Been fired from a job ? - She thought on this one for a few moments. “No,” she eventually stated, “But I have walked out on one that I didn’t particularly care for.” ▌Done something you regret ? - Her tail stopped its lazy thumping, the question catching her off guard. “No,” she finally replied, resolution in her soft voice. ▌Laughed until something you were drinking came out of your nose ? - And suddenly back on track. “Once,” she smiled, “I’m much more careful when drinking around certain friends now.” ▌Caught a snowflake on your tongue ? - And back to it. “Yes.” ▌Kissed in the rain ? - Again with kissing? “No.” ▌Sat on a roof top ? - “Yes; it’s a bit of a game at our Free Company house,” she smiled. ▌Kissed someone you shouldn’t have ? - “No.” What was this fascination with kissing? ▌Sang in the shower ? - “Frequently.” ▌Been pushed into a pool with all your clothes on ? - She sighed, “Something else I’m careful with around certain friends,” she smiled. ▌Shaved your head ? - “No.” ▌Slept naked ? - She answered with a hard stare. ▌Had a boxing membership ? - “I joined the Pugilist Guild in Ul’dah for a while, but I never really got the hang of it,” she replied. ▌Made a boyfriend/girlfriend cry ? - “Next.” ▌Been in a band ? - “Sort of?” she replied, shrugging her shoulders, “I used to sing and dance with a small troupe, but never professionally.” ▌Shot a gun ? - “At the Machinist Guild; the kickback was a little too strong for me.” ▌Donated blood ? - “.... to what?” ▌Eaten alligator meat ? - “Croc?” she asked, “It’s really gamey; I wouldn’t recommend it.” ▌Eaten cheesecake ? - “Yes, but I don’t really care for the texture.” ▌Still loved someone you shouldn’t ? - “Next.” ▌Have/had a tattoo ? - “I’ve got the Legacy Mark,” she replied without explanation, though the well known symbol of those who fought at the Battle of Carteneau and survived the Calamity thereafter was well known enough not to need explanation. ▌Liked someone, but will never tell who ? - “Next.” ▌Been too honest ? - She half-smiled as the Elezen decided not to finish asking the question. ▌Ruined a surprise ? - “Not that I know of; I’m good at keeping secrets.” ▌Ate in a restaurant and got really bloated that you can’t walk after ? - What an oddly specific question? “No...?” she trailed off, wondering if this sort of question was considered ordinary in any place in Eorzea. ▌Ceased to speak to a friend ? - She considered carefully before answering. “There are friends that I haven’t spoken to in years, but never due to a falling out.” ▌Dressed in a man’s clothes ? - "As in borrowed clothing from a male?” she rephrased purposefully, “Probably at one point or another, yeah.” ▌Dressed in a woman’s clothes ? - “Being as I am a woman...” she shrugged sarcastically. ▌Joined a pageant ? - “A pageant? Like a fashion show?” she asked, shaking her head, “No.” ▌Been told that you’re beautiful by someone who totally meant what they said ? - “Why?” ▌Still have communication with your ex ? - “Next.” ▌Cheated on someone ? - “No.” The thought made her uneasy, the suggestion was borderline insulting to her. ▌Got totally drunk while having an important exam the next day ? - “Exam?” her patience was wearing thin, but as the question line had changed again she cleared her head and tried to think, but didn’t have far to go. “I'm not a habitual drinker.” ▌A total stranger treated you by paying your teleport ? - “Don’t let strangers pay for your teleport - you don’t know where you’ll end up.” ▌Got so angry that you cried ? - “Next.” ▌Tried to stay away from someone for their own good ? - “No?” What an odd question? ▌Thought about suicide ? - “Next.” ▌Thought about murder ? - Does now count? “Not seriously.” she quickly revised,  “Discounting dictators.” ▌Actually murdered someone ?  - “I wouldn’t call it murder.” ▌Thought about mass murder ? - “No?” ▌Actually committed a mass murder ? - “No?” Who else has this woman interviewed?!  ▌Rode in a stranger’s vehicle ? - “No.” ▌Stalked someone ? - “If by ‘stalk’ you mean ‘track’ then yes.” ▌Had a girlfriend ? - “I have several female friends.” ▌Had a boyfriend ? - “I have several male friends.” She looked at the woman pointedly, eyes narrowing to a glare. ▌Gotten totally drunk during a holiday ? - She had better be reading off a list. “No.”

The Elezen woman stood and bowed, thanking her on behalf of Ishgardian Young Ladies Monthly, and promptly teleported away, leaving Sinaka with all the answers she needed in regards to how many times the survey returned to romance and school. She rolled her eyes and stood, leaving a tip on the table, and left the Rock and Hard Place.

Alphinaud: What is my character’s greatest dream/aspiration?

ALL THE CHARACTERSSSS even ones i haven’t rp’d with yet for the heck of it XD SHORT RESPONSES tadaa

Sinaka doesn’t really know what she wants. Ever since she was young she dreamed of adventure, and she’s got it. She’s rather aimless in life-long goals or ambitions - she’s rather happy with her life as it is, as a Scion and Adventurer, and as a leader of a Free Company filled with dear friends. She sometimes toys with silly dreams of becoming a Songstress, but when it comes down to it, she’d choose adventurer over those ambitions any day. 

Recent events have complicated things, but she can’t quite bring herself to believe things are changing enough to revive dreams she had long since buried.

Khit’li wants… to be wanted enough to be kept. He wants to have a secure future, one where he’ll be taken care of and will know when changes are coming. His dream is to be happily bonded to someone and respected within his new family clan. 

As it stands, Khit’li is the third son of his family; while he still considers himself to be all that and a bag of chips rank-wise among other Keeper of the Moon Clans for having a family that can directly trace its ancestry to the initial crossing into Eorzea, he feels anything but secure in his own future. He knows he won’t get to stay with his family, but he also knows that he isn’t so important in birth order as to have his future laid out for him. If he doesn’t work hard and make himself desirable to other high-ranking Keepers, he may end up forever wandering between clans and seen only as a male from an old family, someone great to have around when they want their clan expanded but not necessarily kept around for any longer period of time. He doesn’t want that and refuses to settle for that, but the thought is always there at the back of his mind. 

So… yeah. Happy family where he is wanted and respected for who he is.

Sol’s dream is to come home. Thoughts of leadership and a prominent place in society have been tossed aside, even if they had partially come true, in favor of getting back to where he belongs.
