"Youth development professional by day, Dj by night." A high school graduate of Central High School (class of 266), Zuri attended college at West Chester University. She graduated with a BS and MS in Criminal Justice with a focus on Juvenile Justice and Psychology. Zuri actively engages in community development by working with millennials, organizations, and businesses to create social-impact. Her day job entails work with out-of-school youth and nonprofit organizations through the lens of restorative discipline & non-traditional education. In addition to her love of educating and empowering both youth and communities, Zuri is a lover of music and promotes social entrepreneurship as a DJ. She has graced the stage at many landmarks and staple venues across the city, and received recognition from former Mayor Nutter as one of Philly'a best DJ's. She also curates her own events, helps to develop and support artists, and always celebrates good music.
