Passing by the village that they saved a while back, one memory flashback in his mind, that time when Ryo roasted, no eradicated these Grimleals with his dragonic power. The bodies, or the remaining of them and the bad stench. To have such power…he’s only glad that the dragon on their side. God only knows what would have happened to the Shepherds if Ryo was against them. Would he though? Would Ryo have joined the Grimleal if he met them? He should not think about this.

With night falling, the Shepherds camped nearby a forest in order to mask their presence whilst the enemy know of them. It was not Chrom’s turn in patrol but he decided to stay near the campfire until he felt sleepy. Meanwhile, Ryo was in his tent and later went out for fresh air to spot the lord. He approached him remaining standing up because he was not interested in sitting. It didn’t bother Chrom.

“Say, Ryo…Can I ask you for a favor?”

“…A favor..? From me?” a pause, “Yes, if I can help.” he probably thought about it but Chrom can’t read his mind so whatever Ryo thought about is his own.

“…Can you…Can you not use that attack you did a while back? The fire breath you used that time in the nearby village?”

Ryo’s face was always hard to read. Chrom’s request perhaps is weird from the dragon perspective. The dragon opened his mouth then closed it, Apparently, he is thinking about it. “I cannot promise you that but I will do my best not to use it.”

“Thank you…” even if the Grimleal his enemy, that end….that end is horrible even for them.

“I would question why but I can imagine the reason. You are too kind for your own good, you know that, right?”

“I hear this quite often…”

“*sigh* Just don’t count on your enemies to show you the same kindness.”

“I..I know.” they didn’t show no one mercy why would they show him of all people; the man’s son that raided them and killed their people.

“I will use it if I had to protect myself, you understand that, right?”

“Yes. I can’t ask you to not defend yourself.”

“Very well. Is there..anything else?”

“No. Goodnight, Ryo.”

The angel and the devil on the shoulder of a soldier. RP with sincursed.

Rebecca was always loyal to God. Whatever his orders were for the angel she would execute them with diligence. She was mostly tasked with bringing the souls of children from Earth to heaven should their time come prematurely. At first Rebecca would bring the souls post haste without questioning much. She would talk to the children and make them feel safe as they travel to heaven. However, with each child she talked to and the more and more children she brought up, the more she would question it.

These children shouldn’t be heading to heaven. They are too young. It was one case that finally motivated Rebecca to actually do something about it. When Rebecca went to Earth she found a boy who was being physically abused by his father after the mother had died. She knew about what was going on. The boy would be beaten, starved and sometimes isolated in his room. Rebecca decided she would take care of the child so she went down to Earth and talked with the boy. At first the boy was scared but Rebecca convinced him that she didn’t want to harm him and she was here to help. She even showed him her wings. The boy was awestruck by Rebecca. Over the next few days Rebecca would read him stories, sing him lullabies to help him sleep, let him squeeze her hand for comfort, and would play with his toys that he had. One day when she went back she did not find the boy but found the boy’s soul. The father had been drinking too much that night and had struck the boy a little too hard on the head causing internal bleeding. The boy was scared when Rebecca found him. She kept him close and calmed him down a little before taking him up to heaven with the promise of seeing his mother.

One of the rules that an angel had to follow was that they were not allowed to interfere with humans. They would not be able to physical stop a human when they went down to Earth. All they were suppose to do was to just find the lost souls and bring them to heaven. Rebecca learned of a loophole in the rule however. The angels are not allowed to interfere with humans but that didn’t mean she couldn’t get another human to help her. She had to thank that one lawyer for teaching her about that loophole. Too bad his soul was sent to eternal damnation. He seemed like a nice guy.

With the loophole in mind she set down to Earth to find someone to help her with her plan to save children where ever a child was in need. She stumbled upon a man by the name of Spartan-197. She didn’t know much about him other than he was a super soldier and could probably help her out with what she needed. Disguising herself as a college student she would go into the base that Spartan-197 was in to try and recruit him. It was hard at first. He wasn’t the most open person but slowly she began to get him to open up and would be able to recruit him to her cause. It pained her to hear what he had gone through but did remember the girl that he talked about. Rebecca was the angel to bring her up to heaven.

The two would go around to where a child was in need and then would split up. Spartan-197 would go after the abuser or kidnapper and deal with them personally. It would more times than not result in their death or would leave them severely wounded. Meanwhile Rebecca would go find the child and comfort them letting them know that they were safe. Most of the time she would show them her wings to prove that they could trust her. Most of the children would be in awe of her wings which always made Rebecca smile. Nothing was more precious than a child’s smile. The police would always be called to pick up the child. Rebecca would also get 197′s help with animals. The same thing happened just like with the children. Rebecca would get the animal while 197 dealt with the perpetrator with nearly the same result.

Police were stumped. While the numbers of kidnappings were being solved the number of homicides jumped up. Most people didn’t complain however as they praised the mysterious heroes that were saving these children and animals.

Rebecca was on her way to meet with Spartan-197 to talk about another potential child in danger. She was stopped on her way by some of the marines who wanted to thank her for all she was doing with Spartan-197. He seemed to be opening up more to the marines and actually making friends with some of them. They wished her good luck on her latest school project and she walked to find 197. She found 197 a bit later but there was someone else with him. Someone familiar. Another angel maybe? Rebecca didn’t know until she got closer. It seemed to be the angel that was cast out of heaven Satan. This was not good.

“Mr. 197!” Rebecca called out in her disguised form. “It’s so good to see you again!”

Spartan-197 turned and waved to Rebecca. “Did you enjoy your break Rebecca?”

“Oh, I had a wonderful time. Much needed after some stressful finals. Who is this?”

“This is Professor Ryo Asuka.” The Spartan said introducing Ryo to Rebecca unaware that they already knew each other.
