thinking about Darkner!Reader concepts that would be compatible with tenna. and I really like the idea of a cutesy anatomy doll. you would be, like, synthetically a Lightner.

big angst potential with tenna always pretending you're something you're not. big horror potential with your organs, limbs, and "soul" being fully removable and dissectible without causing any actual damage. you get the idea.

oh you would for sure make him so much Worse.

youre the union leader at tenna's studio. when the time comes to negotiate for the pippins to work 10-hour days instead of 14, all you really have to do is show him the slightest hint of sexual interest.

yeah no the pippins can have whatever they want, gorgeous. anyway what's a sweet little thing like you got planned for tonight? do you want to go out for drinks? no you cannot speak to hr there's been some restructuring and that department no longer exists unfortunately

I am in a constant state of agony bc of how wildly different the interpretations surrounding Tenna are. Half of the fandom makes the point that "oh, he's so pathetic, he's so needy, he's so babygirl, he shrinks when he's insecure, he would never be the dominant one" and the other half argues "he's the all-powerful lord of screens and he has quite literally kidnapped and trafficked people and his studio ultimately runs on forced labor, he would VIOLENTLY top you."

And, for me, I think it just has to be both but it is an EXHAUSTING and oftentimes inconsistent balance. He genuinely feels like two characters in one sometimes.

just heard somebody refer to a fic with the word "lemon" for the first time in like a decade. felt like the food critic from ratatouille entering his flashback.

except instead of being teleported to a dinner table in the French countryside, I ended up in filling buckets in "Seven Minutes in Homestuck Heaven // Lemons"

my absolute favorite flavor of stalker character is the kind where he scares himself sometimes. the kind where, when you catch him in the act, he just has to chase you down and restrain you, and now he's terrified because he doesn't want to cross the line, but he already crossed it, right? he already crossed it so what's even the point of stopping now? and oh god he should really let you go, he doesn't want to scare you. but you're already trembling anyway. surely it won't make a difference if he keeps you around for ten minutes or so, maybe even feels you up a bit, right? right. it's fine.

every time I see a paparazzi edit I am hit with the intense need to write more stalker-themed tenna fics. it's a sickness. maybe I can let myself write one more. as a treat.
