Naomi Kerr has done it again with her exquisite piece of art that has inspired our wee back story..... In 1955 the Singer factory worker, Mary McNeil decided to leave Clydebank to become a missionary in the Equador, from that year Mary’s distant family only received festive greetings from far flung destinations until 1961- when Mary was heard of no more. It is believed , that Mary saw out her days has a missionary in Equador and her diaries show accounted visits to many Equadorian Tribes such as the Shuar, Achuar and Aquaruna. When this shrunken severed head was found in the museum artefacts at the Rain Forest National Museum, the DNA testing proved inconclusive to being part of Mary’s remains. So the mystery of what happened to Mary continued to plague her family.#loveskulls #loveskulls💀 #loveskulls #singerfactory #clydebank #art # https://www.instagram.com/p/CIc74tygMUJ/?igshid=p1gh71ppxf1t
