@singer-snowflake said : Snow had absolutely no clue where she was now. It looked like she somehow slipped backwards in time in some ways because she remembered England looking like this in her time... except for the strange green-eyed men she would see from time to time. There was even a red-clad one that she noticed, and it seemed to her that they had noticed her as well. However... something drew her to a mansion away from town, and she decided to land there at the front door. What could a Gem do after all?
It was the job of a butler, as had been drilled into Marlowe’s head by now, to ensure that the rest of the staff were able to do their jobs. If they needed help, well, a butler rolled up their sleeves and pitched in. Anything to keep the household running smoothly.
Of course, today that meant that she had quite literally rolled up her sleeves and was elbow-deep in the dirt as she helped Finny plant some new flowers. The young master wasn’t expecting any guests today, and he was out in town, so it was Marlowe’s job to keep things running until Ciel and Sebastian returned. They had faith in her, so she couldn’t let them down.
To see someone approaching was a surprise. Marlowe drew up to her full height, signaling to Finny to keep working as she took care of this. “ Oi, GOOD AFTERNOON ‘n’ welcome ta the Phantom’ive estate ! Wot can I do for y’, ma’am ? ”
