Singing Statues (aka BNJMN) - No Disguise EP

Astro:Dynamics presents a compelling new perspective on one Ben Thomas, otherwise known as BNJMN or Jackhigh. the latter documented deep journeys through Teebsian forests, whereas the former rode intergalactic waves of inspired house. yet this new project, Singing Statues, reveals how Ben tackles traditional song structures (guitars, vocals, verse-chorus arrangements) from a context that typically rejects such mechanisms. No Disguises has more in common with Campfire Songs and Loveless than 'Limit To Your Love,' so don't think Ben's going James on us. Instead, he eschews the production techniques he's mastered with other monikers for the sake of organic, raw, and low-fidelity aesthetics. the result is far from contrived; it's humbling. too rare do producers showcase true musicality - one listen to 'Panorama' should prove we're all lucky Ben took the risk.
