Few weeks ago, I went to walk/rehearse on the George Washington Bridge.. And they were tearing down the ramp to the South Walkway. I've used that ramp for 40 years! It was rather traumatizing to see it destroyed. But they had just opened the North side. All brand new. With an observation viewpoint. And they even brought over the memorial for 911 hero Bruce Reynolds. (I always say hello to him when I get to the NJ side) .
