I sometimes feel as black women we are conditioned to work hard, harder than the next individual. Think of the single black mother. They work hard so when it comes a time where they fall, they can pick themselves up rather than waiting on someone else. This becomes a disadvantage when they are asked to put their total trust in another. Think of years of fighting, trying to get ahead and doing things on your own and then turning around to have to depend on someone else. To be "submissive." You want to know why black women are "difficult" and hard to deal with. Because we are fighters. Either you can cherish the fight in a black women or you can run away scared.
